For today I proudly offer Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. Yesterday was..... YELLOW day in Mannieland. It was a fairly even and mellow cycle for Mannie. I hope he will break this soon, and head down and not up. One never knows when we get these flat yellows - it could go either way. Mannie, I vote for Blue and greens, OK? Please... or your bean will have to start talking dosecrease once again. We started with the Plavix, Mannie's heart med, last night. I could not find the pill pockets last night, was running 30 minutes late due to traffic, so took a chance, and put the pill in a small bite of food. To my joy he gobbled it right up - no clue he had just been medicated,. :lol: :lol: So far I have not seen any of the side effects, but will keep an eye on him throughout the next few days. Looking good so far! YAY! Lubs ya big guy!, but seriously: think blue, think green! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. I just love how DGS greets Mannie now. Such big boy! He walks in the house, up the stairs, no speed racer, just a nice mellow walk on the search for Mannie, which is always the nanner pile. DUH! :lol: :razz: ;-) ;-) . Mannie seems to know there is a difference, and waits for him. Once sighted Nicholas pets him and says "Hi Man-NIE" and off he goes. Just love it. DGS knows the sounds of getting things ready for a Mannie test. He will come running from wherever he is, wanting to help. What is so cute is after all is said and done he is so anxious to see what the meter says. Once he's seen that he smiles, claps his hands and says YAY! :lol: :lol: :lol: I so wish all those numbers deserved that "YAY!". This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a lots of cuddles. AND (!!!!) he has not returned to the auto feeder!!!! We are back to ignoring it once again.... :roll: Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. It will be a catch up day here - shopping, laundry, errands, cleaning and whatever else I can muster... A shore walk/hike for sure, providing it isn't raining. Ah heck - I will probably go anyways...

Yupp, we tooa re hoping for better numbers. I know the cardio day was hard on him, and when we have days like that it just takes along time for him to settle in again. patience.... I am so glad that the piling so far is easy. YAY!!!! THX on the day... rains are stating now. darn it!

Hi Mary THX on the pic - It is nice to have a camera that will let me do that. it is so hard to get these photos, but once in a while I get a good one: like the one yesterday. He absolutely loves the water and the time we spend at the pool. It really is great. Sp agreed on his smile - it is so genuine,a dn a tribute to how he feels as a kid. So nice to see!

Great news on the successful pill-taking!! Fingers crossed for no reactions. So far, so good!!

Nicholas has a new greeting for Man-NIE and it doesn't involve THE VOICE or THE SPEED RACER! YAY!!!

Enjoy your chores and your shore walk in rain or shine. Great pics from yesterday. When I lived in Seattle a bunch of us students took the ferry to Vancouver and Victoria. It was a fantastic ride and seeing the pic of the ferry reminded me. We had "high tea" at the Empress Hotel in Victoria.

Morning Ella Thanks on the pics. I have done that trip on the ferry to BC - what a great one! Did the high tea in Victoria too - it was fun, even for a coffee drinker like me. Such a beautiful city Victoria. -- I a so glad on the pills - and the no reactions so far. They told me if he does react it should be within the first few days, so we keep hoping he won't. Looks good so far. I still need to find what I did with those pill pockets. :? -- and YES on Nicholas and Man-NIE. What a relief. Mannie is relieved too! He still runs round here all the time, but at least now he slows when he knows that Mannie is near. he's a quick learner.

Nicholas is becoming such a big boy!!! Where did the time go!! I think that smile of his is a direct reflection on how much fun you bring into his life!!!
