1/14 Trixie PMPS 232

DopeyBean strikes again! This morning, I tried a new fuds in Trix's blend: Avoderm Chicken, mixed with her Purina One Turkey. I had it written incorrectly in my notes that Avoderm was for her...but it was really for Mario because of it's low phosphorus. After that +3, I double-checked Dr Lisa's chart...the carb value is "9"....way too high for Trix. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile.

Mario and I have a routine vetty visit today...I hate going to the vet under any and all circumstances. Today we're going for BW, BP check, and a mani-pedi (he won't let me do his nails, and he doesn't really do them himself anymore.)

Endless prayers continue for Roni, Moonie, and Brad...they have been through way too much lately. Hopefully sweet Moonie is feeling better...I'm confident she'll win the fight with whatever is going on.

Different food serving is very difficult to manage. Tell me about it, :lol: 21 kitties each with their preferences! Oh yes, sometimes the "kitchen" does make mistake but dont worry the customer can accept that once in a while hic-cup. :lol:

Hi guys! Don't beat yourself up over the food thing, least you caught it and know why the numbers are higher. I couldn't imagine having to feed my kitties different food. My two eat the same thing at the same time and they wouldn't have it any other way lol! Hopefully Trixie's numbers will come down for you today! Take care!

No harm no foul. Trixie will come down for you soon. Right sweet girl? Good vetty vines for Mario and you. I hate going to the vet as well. Hope it goes smoothly and you are home before you know it.

Hi Amy, it happens with the fuds. I tried the Avoderm on Maggie, too, because I liked the Phosphorus, but spike galore with her! Sending many good Vetty vines for Mario. Hope all goes well today.

Mario's vetty visit went well...his BP is good (always my biggest concern), just have to wait for the BW results. He's feeling fine and spunky, very playful and chatty today. When we got back, I gave him some of "his" Avoderm that I accidentally gave Trix this morning...he loved it so much that he CPCed it - and he's never a CPC kitty! I'm sure part of that is the novelty of new fuds, but hopefully I can keep it in the rotation for him.

Go Mario! I'm glad his BP was good. Paws crossed for the BW. Trixie is doing well. She probably loved the extra carbs. Don't we all. :roll: :lol:

Great report for Mario and paws crossed on the BW!! I also feed the Avoderm Chicken to Gus and I caught Gracie tiptoeing over to his plate and that little tongue was doing it's best to try and get even a morsel of that food! :lol:

I don't know if you saw in one of our condos that I'm now giving all the kitties Tropical Traditions extra virgin, organic, cold pressed coconut oil. My vet suggested it for Gus to maintain his weight and he is. He gets 2 mls bid. Tobey and Gracie get 1ml bid. It has no sugar so does not affect Gracie's BG (actually, Jill/Alex told me about Tropical Traditions and that she uses it for all her cats inc Alex). It's good for hairballs and makes their coats beautiful...even Gussie's. I started out at .25ml bid and slowly built up. Gracie licks hers off her plate but I give it to the boys in a syringe just to be sure they get all of it (you can put it in food but they don't like it in their food). Now everyone has fresh, coconuty breath :lol: :lol:

Pls let us know about Mario's BW.

Ok, Trix....let's see how quickly we can recover from your bean's second booboo this week....
