11/4 Reuben PMPS 103

Yesterday

Good Morning :razz: I have a question: Does anyone know how many drops 0.1u is? The syringes are so random I think I might be better off measuring drops...

Reuben has given up hiding and is being affectionate :RAHCAT Yeay!!

All P's except playing, but Zack was flopping around like a kitten with some random scrap of construction material last night. They both love living in the construction zone :lol:

Ongoing Medications:
Baytril 17mg once a day (started on 2nd)
Ondansetron 5mg BID
Pepcid 2.5mg bid

I think how you measure 0.1u is up to you. Everyone uses different syringes and how people measure is very individual. What I would suggest is to practice counting the drops so you're consistent with how YOU measure. IMHO, it's more important to be consistent so your dose is accurate for you (and Reuben).

Reuben is certainly starting the day off in a lovely way.

Hi Alexa, Nice AMPS for Reuben today :mrgreen: , glad he has given up his vanishing cat routine . Measuring 0.1 was really difficult for me, especially with our cheap syringes markings were inconsistent. We decided 0.1 was half of the drops we had been counting as 0.25 dose. Needle position in the syringe cone still caused variation in I could squeeze out of the syringe for the actual shot :roll: . If you are using calipers and flat end syringes you might be able to work out some finer measurements.

Hi Alexa,
I was counting drops and figured out what was approximately 1 1/2 drops for my final dose.
I gave up on my calipers for that final dose because the mm measurement gave me a dose that gave me nothing when I squeezed the plunger.

It took some practice...
just be consistent.
Hopefully you won't have to do it for very long .... paws crossed!

Thanks so much everybody!! I feel like Alice in Wonderland when she was big and everything was tiny!! Ack!!
So what I'm doing is sounding about right... my 0.25 was between 2 and 3 drops and my 0.1 is between 1 and 2 drops. Sounds like time to learn to measure half drops!
