11/2 Reuben PMPS 124

Yesterday

I'm not sure I understand what went on yesterday as Reuben vanished at the +3/52 (after +2/33 & +2.5/39) and reappeared 5 hours later.... and was +8/117, and then +11/178 and PMPS 178.

Maybe he went low again and this was a bounce? Can he still do that? I am very confused. And I am messing with the dose which I think I have to stop doing, as again I shot a fat 0.1 instead of holding the reduction.

He was +6/96 and then was vanished again for +11 and AMPS and reappeared at +1 and was 121 and I shot a fat 0.1 again. He is staying around today and +4 is 75.

The reason why I can`t find him is that we are living in the remodel project and there are so many nooks and crannies, storage rooms, boxes stacked and furniture stored that no matter how hard I have tried when he a Zack decide to burrow in somewhere and go to sleep, I have never been able to find them. Major heart attack material :roll:

Hi Alexa, Sorry Reuben is doing his disappearing act again, how distressing for you! :YMHUG: Even on low dose, he could bounce if his bg hits a level that his body thinks is unusually low. Or maybe he consumed somethign that has the effect of higher carbs. Is it possible he is getting into food or something else (eating or licking off) in the construction that could affect his bg? Time for your detective hat again. You scolded yourself about tweaking his dose, yet you are still at 0.1U not back up to 0.25 correct? Depending on how accurately you can measure, fat or skinny is not a big change, for some of us with cheapo syringes that is normal variation. I think he will be ok and hope he stays in view so you are OK too.

Thank you so much Leslie. :razz: :razz: I examined the fine dose pictorial guide and it looks like I am in the 0.1u range, although I think I may have shot closer to 0.25u sometime in the last few days... I remember figuring out the drops when I dropped from 0.25u to 0.1u and it seemed like 2-3 drops was 0.25u and 1-2 drops was 0.1u. Maybe this is where half drops come into play...

About the possibility of some high carb food being the answer to that 178 high number, I scoured the situation and there is no food at all anywhere on the site that he could have gotten into (not that he`s interested in food much anyway), so that leaves a bounce - which makes sense given the situation he was in when he disappeared.

I spent a good part of the day moving things around trying to figure out where they are hiding, and found one spot, yeayyyyy!!!
