10/26 Moonie AMPS 173, +3~161,+5~143,PMPS 156,+3.5~152

Aftnoon all!! I have been running around all day stocking up on Batteries, Food, flashlights, matches, ice packs(for the insulin cooler if needed) And All That Hurricane Stuff!! It is very scary and almost every year
seems like we are fleeing from one storm or another....Just like everyone else in our country...
But having the ocean 5 blocks away, it is wonderful, but terrifying like now..I live a block over from a canal that connects to the Bay...LOts of water & Funny, everywhere I went today the people said they were staying --I am too, if you can remember last years evacuation to Conn, when we had no lites & Moonie cried for 4 days straight!!
We'll see :shock:

Moonie was in the higher blues today, but was happy, ate well, slept a lot...
She calls me with her mommie call that sounds like berrrowww!!in her litlle high voice :lol: -I love that.
Both My cats never learned that there was a ME In MEOW, but they did th OW part well & loud :lol:
So funny..Moonie let me make the Bed with her on it, she loves to be pulled around on the bedspread..Go figure!!

We've had a very windy day here today. We're getting ready for the 40's Monday nite, lol.

Hi Roni, I've been thinking of you, as I have The Weather Channel on from time to time. That's great you are all stocked up and getting prepared. I remember the evacuation last year. Maggie was also in higher blues, too! Thank you for your Magical Poo vines, as they worked! Wow, I didn't realize you were that close to the ocean. That is close and like you say wonderful, but scary when a storm is approaching. Sending lots of stay safe vines and prayers for you, DH and Moonie and your friends and any other family in the path also. Hugs and prayers and scritches from us.

Been thinking about you guys....glad you got some supplies. Scary thought about this storm....it would be great if it veers away...

I love to hear of the different voices our cats use. Mine are all so different.

Hi Roni,
Batten down the hatches, as they say! This storm is surely scary, since it is more than a hurricane and apparently is expected to be slow-moving. Please be careful. I hope you won't have to evacuate. I remember last year! We are worried about high winds, rain, and snow up here. Fortunately most of the leaves are off the trees.

Moonie, you are a trooper. You won't let a hurricane scare you.

You sound very prepared for the Frankenstorm. Good grief, I don't remember storms like this up the east coast until just recently. Moonie is looking flat in those blues. Paws crossed the forecasts are premature and things don't come together for a big one.

We are OK, Sandy is still far from us..Off to do a show tomorrow, usually we do well there-and for one
day not think about the Horricane~~~
We are stocked up,I have a million batteries, big lantern, push lights, radio, food(of course)
And since I has gas stove, got long matches to do any cooking, if we can..Got experience from last year, so I have books :mrgreen: which I love...and us....
Sat a Prayer for all those in the path of this Monster storm..
Will be on here tomorrow night, poor Moonie will be alone all day while we work--
