Previous condo

I upped his dose to 2 drops today because 1.5 drops just wasn't cutting it. However the last time he was on 2 drops he kept going very low at night. We leave out food all the time and he is a free feeder but I am not sure he eats as much at night. I cant leave out a higher carb food in case my other diabetic cat eats it. I could give him a higher carb food before bed but I dont think its will last him all night. Any ideas that don't involve me getting up every 2 hours?

I have two thoughts. First, can you get a +2 every night? The early test may give you a clue whether it will be an active cycle. Then, you can figure out if you need to get up to test.

The other thought is to separate the cats in different rooms. You can leave Bailey with higher carb food if you need to.

I can get a +2. I already took a +3 today and you can see how he is trending. I have always been doing a +5 too so that might give me enough to go on.
