10/20 Muffin pmbg 70 Day 13 Shnookie's Labs

Good Caturday Morning LL! Congrats to Furball, Karen & Greg on their OTJ celebration today! We are so very happy for them, and Muffin just cannot wait to get outta here and party!

Ambg 101. This was taken well after the girls had invaded our room. They come in as soon as I get up every morning for "Rumpy time" (drooler) :lol: I got them out of the room, and Muffin comes right out and gets in position for her pokey. She ate a little breffis and is now purring on my lap. Sorry girls, Gramma needs a few more minutes of Muffin time! ;-) I'm not-so-patiently waiting for a call from the vet today to discuss Shnookie's labs and treatment options/plan. I have DGD duty all weekend, so probably won't be on much.

Pmbg 70. Muffin's been out and about for around 3 hours - begging for food. So she got fed at +9.5. I hurt my back this morning carrying something downstairs for the girls, so watching them today was rather painful. Tomorrow probably will be as well. It hurts to just sit in a chair, and going up and down the stairs is no picnic either. But we must suffer thru for the little ones, no?

Shnookie's labs came back and everything looks really good. T4 is normal at 1.7 so no need to increase his meds. SpecfPL was normal, liver, kidney values normal. Sodium and something else was slightly high, indicating slight dehydration, but nothing he's worried about. So Monday he'll call UC Davis and talk to Shnookie's cardiologist to get him an appt, and also inquire about the I131 treatment. He asked about Kibby, who is doing somewhat better, but still occasionally limping. He asked about Muffin, and I told him how well she's doing. After we get Shnookie taken care of, he wants to get Rumpy (drooler) to the cardiologist, and then Kibby. So they're all lining up for their ECG's ohmygod_smile By the time all that's taken care of, Kibby will probably be due for a dental...so major vet bills coming :? But they are oh sooo worth it!
