Pirate Fitzel's Condo Cove

Sorry I'm so late, lately, in getting up Fitzel's condo and posting BG's for the day (night?). She seems a bit agitated, but the baby is still out during the day (locked in her house at night and at feeding time - she's too little to eat what the big kids are eating and it would be a disaster if the Pirate got into her food). Seems Amma hates Fitzel, so at least their feelings are mutual. Hopefully this will mean limited interaction.

Fitz came to bed last night and I was in mommy heaven :-D Nothing like waking up during the night (for whatever reason) reaching out and feeling the softness of your sweet furr. Have you noticed petting and loving up your kitty gets you right back to a peaceful sleep?

Now that I know her pain levels are being managed I'm thrilled to see her appy improve. Still wish she would eat more, but she's eating enough and not losing anymore weight. LB is fine - not sure if Detective Poo is called when Poo happens or when it doesn't. If someone visits and knows, I'd be grateful for the info.

The Pirate is taking much better care of her fur too. Our u/s is Tuesday. I'm very nervous about this. I'm just hoping things aren't too bad. I'm also hoping that Fitz won't need any subq. I don't know if they'll check her fluids on Tuesday or just do the u/s.

For anyone who's baby had a u/s, do you remember the approx. time it took? I'm going to be a waiting room mommy and of course, I'll be counting minutes on my cell. (Probably not the best way to deal with anxiety).

I'll be getting another BG soon, which will be +12. I think she might be needing her insulin - either way, she'll be getting her night time bupe then.

Hope all is well in all condos. Sending vines to those in need and congrats to those doing trials and OTJ!!! It's awesome so many furrs are doing so well. dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat

Shai and the Pirate Fitz

Great to see good numbers for Fitzel and feeling better with less pain, woo hoo! Poo Patrol, aka Detective Poo and Chief Inspector Crapdash, are ready to serve in any poo related matter. Their speciality is observing, tracking, finding and inspecting poo of all varieties. They also provide emotional support to encourage poo behavior so they can practice their pooly skills. And, they love to celebrate any and all in the world of poo.

@Anne - oh, thank you!

Now I too can consult the inimitable Detective Poo and the ever vigilant Chief Inspector Crapdash whenever the need arises. The Pirate's LB habits have been most successful of late, but one never knows. ;-)

Does one?

I can't always say I enjoy waking up to Tuckers furry .......butt in my face! He likes to nuzzle right up as far as he can go!
....especially after reading all about Poo.... . My nose gets all congested and I can't breath.
Good luck on Tuesday. I hope everything will be fine. Sounds like the Pirate is feelin' good ! Tucker will dance to that!

We've never had one of kitties get an ultrasound, so I can't tell you anything about the duration. What I can say is that I'll be thinking of you and sending Reiki and vines - could you give me the exact time of your appointment? - to you and the Pirate.

Maybe take some Rescue Remedy yourself, to help with the worry? Less worried bean = less stressed cat. (I know. I'm one to talk ) Rescue Remedy also comes in pills dissolved unxer the tongue, if you're not happy with the drops.

Good luck to you both!
DH will try again tonight. He couldn't "get through" yesterday.

Hugs
Jane
