10/13 Muffin pmbg 82 Day 6

Yesterday

Good Caturday Morning LL! Congrats to Courtney and Kismet!

Well, I don't know the explanation for a blue this morning. The girls were gone overnight, and are not home yet. I did sleep in a little. No herd awaiting me in the bedroom this morning, tho. Just Kibby and Oscar. Muffin has been very wild this morning. She's ran outside when I came in from feeding Sam and getting Shnookie in. So I left the door open while I fed Shnookie and before I could even finish that, there she was in the kitchen. So I closed the door and she ran upstairs with me. She didn't want to sit still for her pokie, but we got that done. I went to get her breffis, she ran down the stairs and around the kitchen and ran back upstairs to eat. She ate her entire breffis in one sitting (which is unheard of) and demanded more. She's now sitting here wolfing down her second serving. Very very unusual behavior for her. So, 2 P's present so far, playing and peeing, no purring or lovies for me yet - she hasn't had time ;-) I'm not necessarily concerned with her behavior, but I'll definitely keep an eye on her today, and retest in a few hours. Maybe it's just the colder weather. It's been mostly overcast and chilly the last few days.

Kibby finished his course of AB's yesterday. I did see him limping again tho, and he even held his left front foot off the ground when he sat down. I brought him inside, gave him some bupe, and tried to feel both his front legs. He was very uncooperative, so I'm not sure what I felt, but it did seem like midway down his left front leg it may be a tiny bit swollen. Normally, I think I'd take him back to the vet today, but I think I'll just wait til Monday and see if it gets any better. He only limps for a few steps when he does limp. He's already done a course of AB's and I have plenty of bupe on hand, so not sure vet could/would do any more than that at this point, except shave his leg to see if there's anything obvious there. If I'm still seeing it happen, I'll take him in on Monday.

Muffin's done with her 2nd serving of breffis - CPC for sure today.

+3 66 Much better. Odd behavior continues...At +1 she asked for MORE fuds, so I gave her some. (3rd serving) She wolfed it down in one sitting again. Then was playing with a cardboard box in the hallway, wandering around from room to room, finally settling on the piano in the sun. Napped for only a short time. An hour later she was up and wandering around again, then came up and was licking her bowl and asking for ANOTHER serving! ohmygod_smile I made her wait til +3 so I could test, and with a 66, I decided she'd be fine to have a little more. Wolfed that one down, too. This is long past time when she should be curled up somewhere napping the day away, and I see her now curled up in the "house" part of her cat tree. Wait...there she goes...

I called and made Kibby an appt for Monday morning, with a warning that I may cancel if he gets better. They have shot clinic on Saturdays, and it's very chaotic in there, and I don't like to put the kitties thru that.

Those are still all nice numbers, amps included.
Maybe she's like Shadow and feels friskier when in the higher range?

Things finally calmed down around here and everyone napped the afternoon away, as they should. Pmbg 82, and she ate so much earlier today that she's not all that interested in dinner....yet. ;-)

Congrats on day 6! Way to go muffin. wow on the fuds! maybe it all tastes particularly good this AM. :lol:
