10/9 Fitzel AMBG-123/PMPS-324 (Vet Visit Today)

Condo to come.

Fitz is not doing well this morning. She won't eat. She won't let me love her up or cuddle her. I'm really worried. Her BG numbers have been all over the map. I know this appointment is not going to help those numbers but if something else is playing into this I need to know.

Vetty visits are so hard for my baby girl - please send vines her way for calmness, trust, knowing she is loved and that mommy is only trying to help.

At vet now. Fitz all foamy and drooling. My poor baby. She is having a full senior panel done plus urine micro infection screen. New vet thought her BG record was extensive and was happy to see it. Fitzel is panting with her mouth open and I can't wait to get her home.

Some results will be ready tomorrow and some the end of the week.

Thank you all for your loving vines. Keep them coming so I can get her back home safely.

Several people here use Rescue Remedy as a calming agent for their cats. It might be worth looking into.

Amy, Anne, Chris, Rhiannon, Sienne, Melissa, Leslie - all your wonderful healing vines were received with much gratitude by Pirate Fitz and her harried Mama Bean. I'm not surprised by the 324 tonight. Fitz has no appy - and I had to do a bit of forced feeding to get something in her tums after her shot tonight.

She's been hiding since we came back from the Vet. She doesn't want anything to do with anyone. I dug her out of her hidey-hole to test and shoot and after a bit of food she's in a new hidey-hole. I suspect she'll be there all night and I'll have to dig her out for morning testing. It's been her after vetty visit behavior to hide and not eat, sometimes for up to three days. :sad:

I knew we'd be in for this, but I felt I had to get her tested for exacerbating issues. Thank you all for crossed fingers on results. I'll post them soon as I have the info.

Sienne - Thank you for the heads up about Rescue Remedy. We do use it and I used it today - I can't even imagine what taking her to the Vet would be like if I didn't give this to her before we went - while we're there - and then again for the return trip.

Sending over some extra vetty recovery vines for poor pirate Fitzel. After all the poking and prodding she got, I think she deserves a little hiding away time. Paws crossed for good results when you get them.
