Seems like Tip is just surfing to her PMPS. Very nice.

And got a call from the vet, turns out she has nothing wrong. Did see that one of her liver numbers was slightly elevated, but was thinking that's because she seemed slightly dehydrated when they drew the blood. I should've written it down to let you guys know the specifics, but forgot. If she's still losing weight in 3-4 weeks, then I'm to bring her back in and probably change diet since she thinks that Christmas might have IBS if it isn't the hairballs.

There are several people here who have experience with IBS and can offer you a great deal of information if, in fact, that's what's going on. Do you know if the vet ran a free T4? The regular T4 isn't really diagnostic. You can always ask your vet to mail or fax a copy of the labs.

It's good to see that Tip left the red numbers in the dust.

I....do not know. I just remember her mentioning T4 twice, but not sure if she said free or regular or not. I'll call to ask if she can email me the results on monday since they're closed tonight and tomorrow.

It is, but I'm betting her numbers are higher because a friend is over with her dog Luke, I'm about ready to see if she's out of hiding yet for her +2. If not, I think she'll be fine until later. Right?
