Pirate Fitzel's Condo Cove

WCR- All 5P's okay.
Amma has diarrhea so she's not going in for her shot. This is the second time her first shot has been delayed. She's 11 weeks old and we really want to get those started. Her vet thinks the baby is being agitated by Fitz and to limit the time we expose them to each other.

Does anyone have a 2x4 I can borrow it would probably feel better than what's happening in my head right now. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

Re: 9/27-Fitzel- AMBG-68

It's amazing sometimes when you see that family that have like 100 cats, and they all get along, without any problems. How do they do it? Do they just not care or notice, and the cats just have to get along?
Maybe a glass of wine would be better than a 2x4!
I thought I'd add a pic of my Sophie below.....

Shai, I agree with Chris a glass of wine or other restorative beverage will help more than a 2x4 drinking09 I hope the Pirate and Amma will find a way to peaceably coexist. Have a great evening.

Re: 9/27-Fitzel- AMBG-68

Looking good, Fitz! We had cats that didn't get along and they never did work it out. I regret that we didn't figure that out so everyone could have been happier. If that happened now, I would have our animal communicator talk to them. I hope Amma is feeling better soon. Poor baby.

Re: 9/27-Fitzel- AMBG-68/+6-122/PMPS-143

Decided to shoot the 143. I used Anne's method of shaving a single drop and hope that I did, indeed, shave the single drop so The Pirate got maybe a bit less than 1 drop. Time will tell I guess.

@Chris and Tucker - yeah - how do those 100 cat families do it? Hmmm.... maybe there's so much fur that when it flies no one really notices? :-D These little aliens can be such a puzzle. Here I've been so worried about Fitzel being freaked out by Amma, and now Amma is being freaked out by The Pirate. ohmygod_smile Thankfully, Amma's dirreah has subsided a bit. If she's not completely over this bout by Monday she'll have to go in for further tests. She was tested for parasites last time - none to find. But now the vet is wondering if she might be harboring an infection. Such a little girl for so much surus so early in her life.

Love, love, love the pic of Sophie. What a big furry girl! I just want to nuzzle into that belly and kitzel her under her chin. Such a pretty girl.

Oh, and I'll pass on that glass of wine - my solace is in the freezer. A nice huge pint of Haagen Daz Vanilla Chip. I never realized having cats contributed to weight gain. dancing_cat dancing_cat Need to follow the lead of my favorite smilie - dance more.

@Leslie and Jasper - hey there. Thanks for stopping by. We might be a bit short on the vino, but we've got ice cream for everyone! :-D Well, Bean everyone's - no sugar cats allowed, of course.

@Liz - the animal communicator you use - is that the name you sent me? I started following up on getting one for Fitz when the floor sort of fell out under my own health. A bit distracting, that. I'm hopeful in the next week or two to get back into that. I don't want there to be such animosity between Fitzel and Amma. This is their home - both of them and I want each to feel they are loved, respected, adored and understood. I agree, it's just as important for our fur family to feel comfortable in their own home as it is people family.

The AC is Terri Sides., http://www.walkingheart.com/. Marje also has a recommendation for an AC so you might want to check with her too. I don't mean to be a pest about it but I do think it could be helpful. I hope you're feeling better.

@Liz - you're NOT a pest. I think the AC is a fabulous idea, especially since I used one for my horse and saw great results. Thank you for the repost of her site. I'll check with Marje and get her rec. as well.

Shai..... I forgot to mention, the Fortiflora is actually a probiotic, which is great in stopping diarrhea. Using too much at once, for too many days can cause constipation! The baby should love the flavor too! Good luck with her.
Regarding the ice cream, a pint of anything is too small! I can polish off a 1/2 gallon with no problem! But give me one of those new Magnum dark chocolate ice cream pops...mmmmmm!

Sophie is a furry girl. VERY independant though! She only wants attention when SHE wants it. Otherwise she'll warn you with a grunt/growl to put her down. If you don't, she's been known to go postal!

I hope that you feel better soon. I think the 1 kitty is being dominant, and may not like the kitten intruding on his/her territory, and is expressing his/her disapproval. It'll take time for the dominant kitty to accept the newcomer. How much time is going to be dependent on them both. Good luck!
