Yesterday's Condo

Shadow ate his breffis nicely ...so happy both their appetites are so good. DH got up early this morning for a meeting and I stayed in bed. There was my Shadow, sitting next to my head waiting for my alarm to go off. He did some gentle head butts to my arm but did nothing else to awaken me really. He just didn't realize that he was purring so loudly that he would have awakened the dead....really LOUD purring. I was giggling quietly as I pretended to sleep. He manages to arrange his body in such a way that he isn't disturbing me...he sits so nicely on the smallest vacant spot on the mattress next to my head.... PURRING!!! :lol:
They get so confused when DH is up before me....I hold the secret to opening the cans and preparing their food so they must wait for the Mama! Raja probably told shadow to go wake me up...she's like that ya know? Bossy sister!

All Ps present yesterday (and left the largest LB deposit I have ever seen. :o ) Nice to be able to "share" that with friends who understand... :lol: I mean, it was really long and very big....very healthy looking...don't tell anyone we talk about things like this with each other... :lol:

What a terrific start to the day! That loud motorboat kinda purring is awesome.
I am sure it's the epitome of feline happy!

And what a nice number you have there, Shadow, to start the day; now, let's see some very handsome lower numbers. You know the ones, :mrgreen: ;-)

Glad to hear the day is starting off great for the entire household!

Shadow is looking really nice today, Pat.
I thoroughly love the motor boat purrs...That's when you know they are happy and healthy. My civvie does the lay directly on the ear thing and purrs like that when we go to bed. That is "her" time and no one is aloud to come between me and her, lol

Couldn't be one number lower, eh? Guess he will make me wait for a green if one is to come...gave them both some new food at lunch time. Using the powder mixed with raw meat...turkey today....Raja enjoyed hers and then went and helped Shadow finish off his dish. Mixed it with a little FF and sprinkled freeze-dried chicken on top cause they love that!! Shadow ate a bit and then stepped aside, looking up at me as if to say "this tastes strange today Mama...i don't know if i like it..." Then he watched as his big sister polished it off. That'll teach him!!
Stuff is a very convenient powder that Amy and Pedro use..."Feline Future"...will see how it goes.....

Didn't get any grief from my DH about buying something new for the kitties...he took one look at the ground turkey meat in the supermarket and looked as if he was going to barf. He said "What's THAT for?" :shock:
When I said it was for the cats, he let out a big sigh of relief. He is so afraid I am going to make something weird for him...like TOFU or something. Thank goodness if was for the cats.... :lol: (MEN!!)

Ha! typical men! You should have seen Hannah's face when I was wasting 3 cans a day of cat food trying to Spooky to eat canned food. I told her this was getting expensive and I couldn't afford to keep wasting cat food, so guess what we might be having for lunch? Needless to say when I served casserole the next day she didn't trust me and refused to eat so I then I had even more leftovers!

Sounds like a raw diet Sundae w/ sprinkles on top. I did the same thing - powdered up some freeze dried chicken on top.

What a nice day until that ugly pink... :lol: He is trying to use the dosecrease...and did pretty well until later. Oh well. Poor little guy is having such a good time at Basil's OTJ party and told me he is really feeling sad to see him go to the Falls. But Shadow knows that Basil will be happier living there....it's just that he will miss him so much....
That is, until he can move there too! :thumbup

Maybe Basil will show up at some of those wonderful parties you throw! Just cause basil lives somewhere else does not mean he cant p a r t y! :mrgreen:

Nice set of numbers there today - yeah, till the pmps. Want to trade numbers??? thought not. Where did you end up getting the Feline Future from?
