9/19 Trixie AMPS 119 +3 96 +5 99 - Mario ate his mush!

We have green :mrgreen: ! I'm totally shocked. Last night, I was sure I'd be raising her dose again today, but changed my mind when I saw that AMPS (my first surprise of the day). Even still, with that AMPS, I thought for SURE she'd be heading back up after her shot, as has been her trend when she starts out with a nice PS number lately. But, she FINALLY decided to prove me wrong! Could be a one-shot deal, but for now, we'll take it.

Today is a mixed bag for me. It is my FINAL Bruce concert of this tour...I'm torn between being excited and sad to see it come to an end. I'm going with my college roomie, so DH will be home to keep an eye on the kitties. I'll be heading out at around noon, and won't be back until the wee hours of tomorrow morning.

At the same time, Mario is a bit "off", so I'm very nervous. He's actually better today than he was yesterday, but he just seemed zoned out, and wouldn't eat much. He absolutely refused all wet food last night, but would eat SOME kibble. He seems brighter and more sociable this morning, but still not 100% Mario. He did purr for me today, and ate an OK amount of kibble, but is still refusing canned (I'm going to on on FF run in a bit, to see if that will change his mind). I don't know if this is just one of his "things" (he does have moments at times, and at his age, it doesn't surprise me, but always makes me anxious), or if he's adjusting to the recent increase in his BP meds. He sort of acted the same way last year, when he first started taking the meds.

Oh look at Trixie go!!! Yay for green! No food spike there.

Healing vines for Mario and that it is just an "off" day and he will be back to his happy self soon.

Hi Amy and :mrgreen: on the cycle and this dose. You've worked so hard trying to find the right dose.
I hope it is just an off day for Mario. Maggie now has those days when she just feels off, and then bounces back, so hope it is the same for Mario. Sending him some feel better vines. How exciting on Bruce today!

Mario just ate some of his Wellness "mush!" I am so relieved. He didn't eat as much as I would like, but considering the fact that he wouldn't touch it last night or this morning, this is awesome. He had four small rounds, and he "requested" it. I was about to take him "room service" updstairs, when he appeared in the kitchen, looking for food. He's washing his cute little face now.

Be back shortly with Trix's +5...gotta start getting ready for my big date with Bruce!!!

Mario asked for 3 more small rounds of mush...very typical of how he eats. He's roaming around, being chirpy, and generally much more Mario-esque. What a relief! Now, if I could only reclaim the sleep I lost last night, worrying about him, and how I would juggle a possible vetty visit with today's concert!

GOTTA get ready now...gonna be late, and I don't want to keep Bruce waiting!!
