09/17 J.D. PMPS 263

Yesterday's Condo

Last night: J.D. was 410 at PMPS, and 466 at +3, so I didn't test other than that.

He got his reduction to 0.75, this morning.

J.D. seems hungry, but didn't really like what was served, and only ate off the crumbled up freeze dried salmon topping.

Since this is my last day off, I'm going back to bed for an hour.

I did oversleep more than I wanted to (said I'd btb for 1 hour and it was closer to 2) and could have kept sleeping.

J.D. (I think) ate some more of the breffis as both cat food bowls were clean when I woke up at +2.25.

J.D. spent from +3.5 until +4.75 sleeping in his coveted quiet basement. He doesn't get any basement time during my work week, because I really don't like the way Ginger attacks him on the stairs, and he has trouble enough as it is going up and down them.

I just offered 3rd Breffis at +4.75, and both kitties said "no thank you". It was FF Turkey & Giblets. They just don't like that flavor.
Both kitties are now outside. J.D. on the deck where he likes to sleep and where his watering can is, and Ginger tied via 3 leashes clipped together to the porch railing. It is another nice day outside. And I need to get some housework done. I have to tear myself away from this board..soon :lol:

Hi Dyana I hope you're enjoying your last day off. Pretty nice numbers considering the bounce J.D. had last night. Sounds like he's having a nice day on the deck with ginger. Congrats on the reducie!!!!

I wonder if flat blue means anything.

In the past, he's had mediocre cycles before going into his full fledged bounce, so maybe that's what he's doing.

I tried to shoot J.D. 15 minutes early tonight (5:45pm), as that will give me almost until +2 before I have to leave the house (like that matters so much with levemir), in case he throws me a low AMPS tomorrow morning *antijinx*. That will give me almost two hours to get food into him and make sure he's eating, and maybe I can get home from work, most of the time by 5:45pm for PMPS.
I had a syringe almost perfect, but not quite. I wanted to push just a teeny bit more out, and I pressed to hard and shot it all out :? Then I tried again, and had the next measured dose almost there, when Ginger started screaming :roll: I thought she was just telling me she was hunnngry, but her screams got progessively louder and she was telling me she was about to throw up. I put down the syringe and rushed her to the bathroom, pulled up the bath mat off the floor, and shut the door on her (usually I stay with her and tell her it's okay, and what a good girl she is for throwing up on the hard floor rather than on the carpet, but I didn't have time :sad: ). So, J.D. got his shot at 5:50pm or so, and Ginger got her "good girl" and petting soon after and let out of the bathroom where she left me with a nice hairball to clean up.
J.D. had Wellness for 1st Dinner and actually ate it. Ginger is now outside somewhere and I have to go find her :-| .

What a great cycle for JD today! Don't you love how the second cat always demands your attention at exactly the wrong time. :lol: Good news on JD's appy this evening.
