Yesterday

Another tired old morning. I realized I forgot my phone as I left for work this morning. When I went back home to get it, Charlie was at the door giving me the sweetest little puppy dog eyes, as if to say, "you're not REALLY leaving me, are you?"

Tomorrow I'll work from home so I can make it up to her then.
Looking forward to another strong cup of tea upon arrival at work, I tell you!

How great to be able to work from home sometimes - Charlie's probably wondering why you don't do it everyday, and how you could possibly resist her puppy eyes :lol:

I hate it when they give you that look as you are walking out the door. It makes it so hard to leave. Hope you have a good day.

YES! It was the "leave me the can opener and take out a few cans of my favorite CHICKEN" look. That's exactly it. :lol:

Very very happy I'm over the hump of this week. The extreme stomach bug that I had a few weeks ago is completely gone, so that's great. I haven't had much heartburn either. Eating 1 probiotic yogurt a day and laying off the coffee big time and that seems to be helping a bit.

Thanks for asking how I'm doing. All in all, I'm doing fine. Thank God I am at home with Charlie tomorrow. Sometimes this is the best way to find peace.
