Good morning,

It's definitely a ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) kind of morning. However, I'll take mine in the form of a diet coke! Those of you who read my condo yesterday, I'd just like to say that I got absolutely nothing done to be ready for today. (today is a district "Professional Development Day...meaning, kids have the day off; teachers are forced to sit in stupid inservices/seminars...I hate these days!) I am one of the co-presenters and honestly, I didn't sign up for this; I have no desire to do this; actually, I disagree with what I'm having to present, etc.! Should be a fun day, huh?! grr_red

Anyways, on to my little girl, she's eating ok. Finished her breffis at +1 and got a snack at +1 (ate a good portion), but there's just something about her demeanor that isn't sitting right with me right now. She hopped up on the bathroom basin while I was getting ready and was all purry, but at the same time she seemed kind of angry?!?! Also, I noticed that one of the toes on her back foot was slightly "separated" from the rest...as if she had a toe cramp. (my fear is that it has something to do with her heart issues...saddle thrombosis.) :-| She seems very skeptical about everything right now. I don't know. Strange. I hope she has a good day...it can't be any worse than mine! Ok, time to get her autofeeder ready.

Sending happy, healthy kitty vines to all the kitties that need it and same vines to all the hoomins that need them, too! Happy Monday, y'all!

This inservice is dreadful, so far and I'd much rather be teaching my silly children! ho-hum!

Morning Deborah - oh wow on the inservice days. well, hope it goes well, and passes quickly.

A nice mellow start for Shasta today. I'll take yellows on days when I have to be away. At least I know they/Mannie is safe. I hope too that all is well with Shasta. Maybe just an off morning for her. Be well Shasta!

Good Morning Girls!

Well, the silliness will be over before you know it, and you`ll be back home cuddling the darling Shasta. Maybe she was in a bad mood because she thought it was bad manners to go off and leave her, just to get professionally developed?

I hope it really *is* that and nothing else! :YMHUG:

I am so sorry about the in-service day. I think they use it as torture for teachers, along with the open houses. Take a deep breathe and think of fun things like kittens and unicorns. It has to end eventually.

Flat girl before you left so that is helpful. Have a great night!!

Hello Melissa, Alexa and Michelle! The inservice was pretty much a complete waste of time (in my opinion), but I "winged" it with the best of them and actually made sense! woot-woot! :-D Now I'm hanging with Shasta, playing on the computer (supposed to be working on the computer...I'll get to it in a minute), and watching "The Voice". Ok, so really, Shasta is snoozing on the back of the couch, snoring in my ear. She's a bit warm, but I'm thinking it's because of the blanket she's napping on...creates and hold body warmth REALLY well.

Her numbers are a bit strange tonight...strange for her. I'm not used to shooting in the 100's. I think I may have front loaded her carbs a bit too much tonight!!! Whoops!

Hope everyone had a great Monday! Hope I can get around to a few condos tonight. Hmmm...which to do first, lesson plan or FDMB condos?! I hate decisions like this one!

That is a normal lantus cycle! A little rise at +1 then a gradual drop. Woohoo! :-D

Question is...how long will she keep sliding. Her turning point is coming up...or will she make it a true slide?!?!?!?!?! :?

+4=134

Update +5=177 too many big carbs at beginning of PM cycle. Oh well...good night!
