Happy Sunday Lantus Land!! Happy Birthday Rocket and many healing vines coming your and also little Abby's way!
So now I'm actually thinking that perhaps some insulin did leak out yesterday because she doesn't normally rise that quickly even after a big drop and a low number. It would also account for today. Whatever!!!   It is what it is and she is her silly little self and is a happy girl who is eating well and feels good. Tobes is 150% and they were doing their circuit race today through the house. As they ran in from the catio, Missy G in full speed ahead mode, she hit the tile and slid and I could see her sliding towards the dishwasher but at the last minute, she whipped her little baby butt around and came to a screeching halt two inches away from it....she needs to be a stunt daredevil driver in an action movie     There is never a dull moment with these two around.
Ella was kind enough to ask on yesterday's condo how I've been feeling. I have to say what a difference several days makes. Since last Wed, I have been feeling 100%. I do think the GI doc hit the nail on the head when he said I had an acute infection and some chronic inflammation and it appears the antibiotic got rid of the acute infection; the dietary changes like the liquid diet for several days and then being careful to avoid broccoli, artificial sweetners, gum, beans, and a few other items has allowed my intestines to rest. My ct scan enterography with the barium came back totally normal
I am tempted to forego the endoscopy tomorrow but it is probably wise to just get this last test done and make sure there is no IBD, Crohns, Celiac's, ulcers, etc going on so I can be sure my diet stays appropriate and there will be no more flare-ups. I've always been extremely healthy and I cannot remember ever being in such acute abdominal pain with accompanying other side effects that just left me completely dehydrated and weak.
Mike and I both thank you all for your caring thoughts, well wishes, encouragement, support, and just everything!! And my beloved was the absolute best nurse and I knew I did not have to worry about a thing here....the cats would be well taken care of. Between the two of us, we both know that he is the much better human caregiver but I promised him if he ever got sick (anti jinx), that I would hire the best possible nurse for him     He was grateful since he knows that while I'm a hoverer, that doesn't mean I'm effective ;-) ;-) ;-)
Since he is home today watching football and cats, I'm going to get my errands run that I wanted to do yesterday inc a Costco run. I'll BBL but have a fab day! Hugs and
