416 PMPS
197 +7.25
207 +11.5

J.D. brought himself down last night. Maybe (fingers crossed) he'll settle into this new dose, now.

I spent the first 20 minutes of my waking hour portioning another 2.5lb container of the raw food. I took it out of the freezer yesterday morning. Last night it was too frozen, still. At +7.25 (1:15am) it was getting there. At +12 (6:00am) it was almost too thawed, at least around the outside (so I quickly cooked some of that). Ugg. I have two more containers to do. I think I'll reserve that task for the weekend.

J.D. ate his 1st Breffis and is laying in his little kitty bed.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning Dyana:)

Glad to see JD came down fro you last night. Hope he likes his new dose. Sorry to hear that the preperation of the raw food diet is taking up so much of your time. Have you always fed raw or are you transitioning the kitties?

Good Morning Dyana. Sure is nice to see J.D.'s amps, so much nicer than last night's ps.
Raw food in morning. ugh. Opening a can is bad enough :-D
Good luck that he's settling into this dose.

Hi guys .. I'm glad to see J.D. brought himself down .. fingers crossed he's decided to settle in to this dose .. I know raw food is probably the best food out there for our kitties, but I really don't think I could do it .. I'm with barb, opening a can in the morning is bad enough  have a great day!

My raw food comes in either 1/4 or 1/8 lb plastic packages. The 1/8 lb is enough for one cat/day, the 1/4 lb does both cats both meals for the day. I usually pull the package out of the freezer the day before I use it. If it isn't thawed enough (or if I forget in time to pull it out of the freezer), I put the package in a bowl of cold water. That thaws it out quite quickly, usually less than 20 minutes.

After you've tried JD on the cooked for a while, you might want to try putting a little bit of raw food back in the mix. Make sure you add warm water to it. Some cats need to transition to raw with cooked food first. Once he gets on raw, then life will be easier. Instead of popping a lid, I use scissors to open a package, and then it's ready to squeeze it out.

His numbers are looking much better today!

Just stopped by to say Hi! So, Hi!

Glad to see J.D. has come down, those were scary #s over the weekend.

Tink & Tawny are good but since their SS's are never up to date I never post. Still check in on everyone every day tho!

Desi etc.

(((Dyana))) Hope the raw food portioning goes reasonably quickll so you can be done with it soon! J.D. you be a good boy for your mummy now, she's got enough to deal with!

Good to see you Desi!

Come down JD!
Transition to a new diet is difficult at first but I am sure it will be easier as you get used to the process.
Have a good day Dyana!
