J.D. had some green each cycle, the two days we were in Pittsburgh and not driving. That was pretty good.
On Friday, we were heading to the airport to pick up Jan, and stopped at a Starbucks where Lisa and Deb were getting some coffee at a drive up window. I tested J.D. and he was 56, so when they asked me if I wanted anything, I said "can I have some whipped cream for J.D.?" He went to 50, had some more whipped cream, and then when we got to the airport, J.D. went inside with us, so that Jan would know us when she saw us.

August 9th
265 AMPS - began driving to Pittsburgh
276 +2 - second rest stop (J.D. ate 1st Breffis)
290 +3.25 - third rest stop (J.D. ate most of 2nd Breffis, and finished it on the road)
103 +8.5 - arrived in Pittsburgh and J.D. finally got his 3rd Breffis

The Reunion was great. I love going to them. I love being with people just like me :) I recommend everyone go to one.
I love all the people there, and the food is always scrumptious, and the conversations are mostly about cats. We stay up until the wee hours of the morning each night and talk and visit and eat and just really enjoy the get together so much.
I love visiting with all my little cat friends, and Molly (Deb's wonderful dog). The drive is long. It took us 6 1/2 hours to get there with 3 rest stops and 6 hours to get back with 2 rest stops. J.D. was the social kitty the first 3 days, while Ginger was hissy pissy, and hid. The last day, Ginger was up and out, and lounging around, and more her lovey dovey self, and J.D. was hiding (like as if they switched roles, or maybe J.D. just wanted to stay in Pittsburgh :roll: ).

Now, to unpack.

just be aware that dyana has about 150,000 alarms on her phone. no damn wonder she sleeps through half of them. I do not even think she even knows what half of them mean. I am tellin ya, every 15 minutes one is going off.
but we know the real reason she sleeps through the alarms, don't we Dyana

Sooooo....what's wrong with having 150,000 alarms on your phone??? :-| I think I have 151,000....all playing a different tune, all meaning an alert for the Mama. :lol:
So happy tht you are home safely and that you had a great time Dyana!
Guess J.D. will be expecting treats from Starbucks from now on....you have creted a monster maybe?
I expect tht he will be going low just to get some more whipped cream! :lol:
Missed you around here...glad everyne survived the trip nicely and hope you can all unpack and settle back in okay....glad things went so well! Hugs!!

Hi guys .. well those were some nice looking numbers for J.D., especially for being out of his own little home environment! I'm glad you guys had such a nice time at the reunion, it's always fun to be around those who have cat stories of their own to share! Have a great day guys!

Nice looking +4.5! Did you happen to tell JD that he was coming back to Pittsburgh next year right before you took that test, lol!
Keep up the nice work, JD! I'm sure there is a Starbucks somewhere your mum can take you to so keep your eye on the prize for those green numbers!
Great seeing you again, Dyana and can't wait until next year to do it all over again. Miss you, Ginger, and JD already! It sure is quiet around here ;-) and maybe I'll be in bed by 10 pm tonight......

I think J.D. might need some more Lactulose. I stopped giving it to him about a week ago, when his poo was wetter than normal let's say. Right now, he keeps getting into the litter box and trying but nothing comes out :-x poor kitty.
oo he just gave me a little prezzie :cool: . I wonder if I can give it every third day or something (if I could remember that), rather than every other day.

Dian, the alarms only go off at AMPS and PMPS, and then every hour (almost) from +5 to AMPS again :oops: It just shows how late we stayed up. Yesterday morning, I don't think we got home until 3:00am :o ...It was a good time :-D

Miss you, too, Deb. And Ali and Molly and Spot and Ralphie and GC. And please don't forget to tell Dian and Lisa when you see them that I miss them already, too ;-) It was great seeing you guys. Thanks for everything. You and Dian really go all out for these parties. I can't wait until next year.

3rd Breffis was just eaten. He went back to the bedroom, since the screen door is closed and he can't get out to the deck (I'll go open it for him), and Ginger has been sleeping in the carrier all night and all day. Silly girl.

Way to go JD!!!!

Glad that talked helped!!! Spot gave me a 156 for pmps.....then about an hour after eating he gave me a nice BIG fur ball. Me thinks that was what those higher numbers were telling me.

I just fed him some MC Fancy Feast Medleys, so I can get a little sleep. I set an alarm, or two.
