Went shopping for Shasta supplies...came up pretty empty handed. Time to order online; which was my first instinct, but since I was going to shop for my Back-to-school clothes, I figured I'd shop for Back-to-school Shasta supplies, too!

Oh well, always fun to receive things in the mail that isn't a bill!!!!

Shasta's SS is looking really nice. I am wondering if she is planning some green for tonight's cycle????

Have a great day, Deborah. Always most important that the cats are fed ;-)

Looking good, Shasta! So close to green! I wanted to warn you that the food scale eats batteries. Seems like ours needs new ones every 3 months or so. So you might want to keep some spares. Also keep a spare battery or two for the meter. Do you have a spare meter? That's a good idea in case something happens to your main meter or you get funky readings and want to compare. Happy Sunday!

I assume she had a little green time while I was out spending my green! And I've been trying to give her a little break on the ear poking. She's gotten very squirmy! :-|

Thank you for the forewarning on batteries. I'll keep a few of my rechargables ready! And no, I don't have a back up meter...yet. I've been reading lots of peoples posts and figured out that most people had a back up...will add to my list! Thank you!

Here's hoping for a little green tonight!

Oh well, I guess it will be a very blue and probably yellow night for us. Still kind of early, but based on her previous nadirs, I suspect she'll be in an upward climb from here on out. At least I get to go to sleep somewhat early tonight!

There's a lot to be said for getting a good night's sleep. :-D Have you found American Diabetes Warehouse and Hocks? They are online stores that have good prices on diabetes supplies.

I haven't tried Hocks, but American Diabetes Warehouse has my vote of confidence for savings, shipping quickly after orders are received, and the variety of supplies you have to choose from!
