Happy Fursday! Congrats to Wonton and Carolyn...OTJ!!!

Still scratching my head on Gracie's numbers....at least they have come down to flat blue. She's been playing and having a good day....she seems to feel well and is happy. Her meibomanitis is acting up a bit and I've been putting a warm compress on her eyes to help...they just get kind of weepy. But they don't seem to bother her...she doesn't paw at them or act like any differently.

I gave her the dog duck/pea pill pockets today at +4. She had been coming down at a nice rate but when we checked her at +5...screeching halt. So I'm not sure if the pill pockets did it or not. Frequently, she will go up around +5 and then come back down which tells me she's not getting overlap. I'm not sure how much I want to further test the theory but sooner or later, I'm going to run out of the cat pill pockets. I only tried the dog ones today because she turned her nose up at the cat ones.

We're jobbing out here today....some of our friends are coming over tonight for a belated birthday party so we are working outside...we've had alot of wind and there's alot of cleaning up to do. So not sure if I'll be back on until later.

Hi Marje, it seems a few of our kitties are on highs today; wonder what it is with them! I hope Gracie returns to her pretty greens. Enjoy your belated birthday party.

Flat blues are nice, but I know Gracie has some greens in her, maybe tonight?

We've seen the same things with Zener's numbers using the duck and pea pill pockets. They don't bring him up, but they sure slow a drop. We checked the ingredients, and of course the company says it's the same, but there is something added to give the dogs ones a stronger smell. We are using the feline ones now because I bought as many as I could once we saw they were being discontinued. I wrote to the company again this week because I saw the feline duck and pea on their website, but still discontinued, just not very quick on updating their website. :sad:

Flat blues? Is there an imposter in the house again? C'mon on back down to the lagoon Gracie but please do it slowly so your bean can enjoy her birthday party!

maybe her higher numbers are related to the flare-up of the meibomanitis (had to copy and paste that one - tricky spelling!) - could that be responsible?
