Yesterday's Condo

Last Night:
334 PMPS
351 +5.75

I woke up to J.D. doing his vocalizing (after chasing Ginger, I guess) at PM +11, and then watched him eat some left over food. I know I'm bad, and I'll get better at picking up the food at +10 :roll: 4:00am :roll: I just don't normally get up until +11 5:00am and should have picked it up then, but didn't.

Sorry, I was missing yesterday. I went btb and slept solidly until 12:30pm I guess after working through last weekend, I missed my btbing
When I rushed to the bank and the store around the corner and their electricity was out, I rushed home hoping we still had some, and turned on the air nice and cool, and went back to sleep for a bit more :shock: and then woke up to horrendous thunder and lightening and winds. It wasn't a good day :-|

This morning, the cats and me (umm, I), spent the first hour and a half outside, watching the birds and the squirrels, and they're still out there.
Tomorrow, is supposed to be cooler Yay!

I guess it won't be this cycle, though.

I applied Frontline Plus this morning to the cats (last dose was May 12th), and Ginger is currently in hate with me, hissing at me if I approach her and attacking me (with claws in) if I try to pick her up. She extra hates Frontline.

Open windows! I'm envious. Enjoy that fresh air. It's only 82 here, right now, but supposed to get into the 90s.
Tonight will be 62! I can't wait.

I am so jealous of 62 at night! I cant say enough how much I love J.D.! He is such a cutie! Hopefully today will be a good good for blue skies and maybe some green pastures. I know all about getting rest and I am glad you got some. Today is the day to be lazy and relax....so I hope you can at least do some of that also.

Gees Dyana, I assumed it cooled off there too. I responded to your comment in my condo, then deleted it, to respond in yours.
I've been wondering if the cats are feeling unwell because of the heat, even if they are in air cond. house. Ya know, the barometric pressure and all. I know Checkers hurts, as I do, when we have extended rainy periods.

I too am happy to have open windows. kitties are in front of them.
I agree with Donna.....J.D. is gorgeous!!

Hope J.D. comes down some...but as long as he feels good, all's good. JMHO

My basement door has been closed for the most part ever since J.D. started being on his drugs for pancreatitis because they made him dizzy or wobbily, or he just was from the cp. Yesterday and today, I let him down there, as he does enjoy laying down there, and he has litter boxes down there, he just doesn't have food available, and I am just scared that he's going to be sleeping through to a low, and then be too weak to climb the stairs for food, if I leave the door open to the basement while I'm away at work.
So, he's down there sleeping in his corner, and I take the glucometer down to test him for his +6. After the test, I opened a can of FF Fish & Shrimp Feast, and Ginger heard the can open and came charging downstairs, and I was quite happy with how well J.D. hogged most of that can of FF. Together they ate 1/2 the can, and I know J.D. got most of it.
Ginger came back upstairs with me, and J.D. stayed downstairs in the cold dark basement. I'll get him up, soon.

At PMPS, he had to spend about 5 minutes or more at the water fountain. I guess being in the basement causes him to loose water. We go through a lot of litter. He just finally ate a couple of bites of 1st Dinner.

I'm off to see if the grocery store ever opened.

Now, he's back at the water fountain again. He sure does drink a lot.

Yay, on J.D. getting most of the food.
Boy Dyana, I bet that cool basement feels good to a guy wearing a fur coat. :smile:

Oh, I am so jealous of all that sleep you got yesterday! That storm was a really bad one...my poor Mario was not a happy cat.

We had some bad storms here yesterday & today too & my power went off for a couple of hours both times. I never knew this but apparently Tawny, like her drooler brother Smokey, is terrified of storms. It was time for a spot check and I could not find her & since she was running low today I really needed to find her...finally, I found her. She never hides, Tink is the one that hides. Tawny was hiding under the sofa. She has never gone under the sofa in all the time I've had her that I know of! She would not come out, I could not even drag her out. Once the storm blew over, she was out of there & we got our spot check.

She is jealous of J.D. for having a basement!!!! We don't have a nice basement to hide from storms in here in Louisiana!!!!!

Dyana - Glad you got some good sleep yesterday, sometimes you've just got to take care of yourself. :smile:

I'll bet J.D. does like the basement, but I understand your concerns about when you're gone. I'd close the door, too.
