Yesterday's Condo

So far, it's been quiet in these parts. I almost forgot to open Gabby's condo -- I got preoccupied with working on a workshop I'm giving next week. I need to be preccupied with making dinner tonight for colleagues/friends who are moving out of Chicago in a week or two. At the moment, both cats are hanging out with me. I'm sure they will find some way to keep me entertained.

Gabby found a way to keep me entertained. I was literally being yelled at while I was showering. Once I reassured Gabby that I wasn't drowning, she waited until I was done and then let me know there was something in the kitchen that required my attention -- her food bowl.

Having had an extra snack, she made a bee line for the cubes. Gizmo keeps sticking his head in and attempting to swat Gabby. He's getting hissed at.

I love your stories Sienne. I hope Gabby surfs from that +5 and you have a lovely dinner with your friends tonight.

The guests were delightful. Dinner turned out well. Gabby was actually somewhat social and Gizmo was his usual irrepressible kitten self who charmed my guests. And, Gabby is spending time in good numbers.
