Was surprised to see his +7 at 167. He hasn't eaten any of his +6 meal yet but he gobbled up his post-ear poke freeze dried chicken treat and is otherwise acting fine. Will feel a lot better if he eats soon though. And... he just started eating so all is good :-D

They know when they need it. Tess just came and sat in my lap and purred her head off! I knew something was up, but it wasn't her BG! :roll: :lol:

So Jinx hardly ate anything for his AM +6 meal today and barely touched his food just now. At what point should I start getting concerned?

He's eating the treats I give him for the ear pokes and the Flovent but not sure why he's not interested in his regular food...
 
How about crumbling some of the freeze dried chicken onto Jinx's food?

Gabby is not in the least bit picky but my civvie, Gizmo can be. He gets spoiled by my putting either crumbled chicken or bonito flakes on his food. Usually, once the get started eating, they'll eat.

Also, as Jinx starts to get better regulated, his appetite will decrease. You just need to make sure he's starting to eat by the time Lantus onset begins -- usually around +2.
 
You're awesome, Sienne, thanks!! That got him to eat most of it. Hopefully, he won't expect that every time though. But knowing Jinx, he will. Have a great night!
