Just gave Jinx some slippery elm w/ his AM +6 meal. Hoping this helps with the loose stools...

Joe....I'm assuming you tested and got the 372 before you gave the SEB?
Maybe a good way to figure out if it affects his BG is to give it in the earlier part of the cycle and maybe an hour before you do a test? And it does take a few doses before you'll likely see a change. Paws crossed.
Jinx....AuntieMarje bean here with the threat....two more cycles and you may get a dosecrease if you don't start coming back down!

Yes, I did test his BG right before his +6 meal. I made a slurry out of water and SEB until it was a relatively thick consistency and gave him a tsp with the meal. What do you think about doing a check at +2. Ideally, that should be about the same as his pre-shot so if it's higher, we'll know he may be getting too many carbs in the SEB. Let me know if there's a better way to check.
Was really hoping we were close when we saw him in the blue at 1.75u. It makes no sense to me why he hasn't been responding better with 2u. Hope you're having a great day and I'll talk to you soon.

Was so happy to see a pre-shot under 400 but I think I gave him a fur shot for the second day in a row. So frustrated....
I was thinking more like +3 so you get a clear picture of your +2.
I wish I knew why they sometimes look ok on a dose but not as good on a higher dose. I just don't know.
I know you're bummed about the fur shot but we all do it. Enjoy the rest.
