Yesterday was a hiking day for me, and well..... I have no clue what Mannie did during the AM cycle :o  :?      He was up at +2, so I took a chance and headed on over to Eastern Washington for a desert hike, to a set of lakes at trails end. I felt he would be safe, so off I went. One never knows with Mannie - he follows his owns set of rules, so even though ALL THAT DATA said SAFE, I still worried nailbite_smile . Do we ever stop worrying? Probably not. So... he was Pink at the PS for the PM cycle, and began the descend down. Lubs ya big guy - and thanks for letting me go hiking yesterday. cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D I have no Mannie sagas or witty stories today about yesterday - as I missed it!  I was gone all day..... :o and he slept all evening.... Sheshhhhh - how exciting is that? Though.... the other night he and Elsa went at it with a whack-a-thon. I think Elsa started it, he was in her spot, and well... no way ya know. So one whack led to another and soon paws were flying.  I told Mannie that DGS will be over later this morning. His response?: straight to the nanner pile. He needed to get them ready for DGS's visit. LOts of hugs and slobbers and chews for those nanners. GO MANNIE! This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club - AND the auto feeder still continues to be used by Mannie, and Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, and is ever so happy when he chooses to ignore it, which he did today.... Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! And Happy mom's day to all of you mom's! My family will be over for a breakfast get-together. Should be fun! Eggs Benedict is on the menu. WOO HOO!

Hey everybody!! It's me, Mannie. well yes it is.... heeheehee.... Hey I was kinda thinking... it is mom bean day out there. maybe it would be kinda cool if we kitties visited the moms, brought them flowers and stuff, ya know let them know how much we sugar kitties lubs them and all they do for us. What'd'ya think? HAPPY MOMMY BEAN DAY! AND THEN!!! We gots Lucy's OTJ Party - woo hoo! We are off to Canada!! I Lubss Canada! ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Here are a few photos from my hike yesterday to Ancient Lakes. on the way home I stopped in at the Columbia River Gorge, to watch the river for a bit. I've also included the FaceBook link for anyone who want to see the whole lot of photos, and the videos: Ancient Lakes, Columbia River Gorge, and Snoqualmie Pass

Hi Deb - thanks for the visit! It was great to read a Spot Caturday report. thanks, yesterday was a good one, and no doubt the Manster took advantage of having the house to himself... hmmmmm..... And thanks, we will have a good time. Those hugs and kisses will be delivered to Nicholas, even with all the nanner tossing.

Hi Ann - Yep, another morning/day with Nicholas. WOO HOO! I do believe that you are right - Nicholas will seek out the Manster: it always is the first thing he does. Thanks too on the pics - it really is a nice place. The lakes here are really beautiful.

Re: 5/13 Mannie AMPS 255, +2 304

Hey, Mannie, how about you and Zener stick together today and head to the blue floor and maybe the green?

I stopped at that overlook of the Columbia River last fall on my way to Vancouver. That is really amazing to see all that water in the desert.

Have a great day with the kids!
Liz

228 @ +2. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! back to the yellows! and Go Mannie - maybe blue is coming! :-D

Hi Liz - I am with you. I think those two boys can do just that. Blue on the horizon for sure!  WOW, and very cool on the stop at the Columbia River, and I am with you: amazing to see all that water in the desert. That is how I feel about the hike that I did yesterday. It's is very dry there, lots of dust! And at the end of this hike you find these 4 very pretty lakes, full of fish, birds, wildlife and the inevitable snakes. -- many thanks - I am looking froward to time with the family. WOOT!

Happy belated Annifursery of being ON the Juice, Mannie!!!!! Way to keep at it and never giving up! That takes dedication and patience, not just from the bean...but YOU, the cat as well! cat_pet_icon Although, we already knew you were blessed with what may be the greatest amount of patience known to catkind.

I hope you have/are enjoying Mother's Day, Michelle!

Btw...how far do you drive to some of these places for your hikes?

Re: 5/13 Mannie PMPS 201

201 @ PMPS. WOW - now isn't that nice! I like that - almost blue. I so hope for a good cycle tonight!

Hi Barbara - many many thanks! Itwas great - we all had a good time. Of course nicholas makes sure Mannie got all his nanners - too funny! And yes on The photos - still working on those... :?

Hi Ann - it has been a nice sloe slide down. Yellow, but the tend is down. Sure do hope for a good cycle tonight. You are right - it was a good one to have when things were so bust crazy here. Mannie just cruised along doing his thing, and I didn't need to worry. Thask on the pics. I really like that place. A small "oasis" in the middle of the desert. Love the hike, do it every year. Love that "licking kitty - very cute! And TESS: THANK YOU!!

Hi Carolyn - many thanks for me and Mannie. I love this, and it is SO TRUE!

on the hikes: average is about 1 - 1.5 hour drives. When in eastern Washington, the drives are on average 2.5 hours: a bit of a poke. Mileage can vary. the eastern Wa stuff is about 350-400 miles RT , this side of the mtns: about 150 RT

Hi Celi - many thanks! LOVE that photo!

Tess - you are on! let's do it! We gots so many to visit... best get moving! and then paw-tay! ~~ See ya! ~~ Mannie

Re: 5/13 Mannie PMPS 201

Happy Mothers' Day, Michelle!
You must have had a wonderful Mothers' Day breakfast with Nicholas and his mom and dad. I guess Nicholas didn't eat eggs benedict, however, or did he? Yesterday's hike pics are fantastic. What an amazing place that must be. Nice of Mannie to give you the day off. But then he had lots of menu planning to do!
Hope you are having a nice evening and that Blue Mannie and his Group will be playing at Lucy's OTJ party tonight.

Mannie, what a wonderful surprise to have you and the kitties visit bringing chocolate and flowers. Thank you so much! You guys are the best!!

Auntie Ellabean,

Hey Chef Mannie, I'm all ready for the trip to Canada for Lucy's OTJ party. Menu looks fabulous. See you soon,
Rusty

Re: 5/13 Mannie PMPS 201, +2 233

233 @ +2. food spike, i hope.... :-D

Hi Ella - Thanks - we did! My son cooked - he makes the best Eggs Benedict! and yes, Nicholas had some too, with a little help. That and hash browns, strawberries and raspberries and blueberries, and more Eggs Benedict. I seriously don't know where this kid puts all that food! Thanks on the pics - it is a fantastic Place. There is a ton of geological history there, as this, and other sites in eastern wa, were the location of many glacial floods millenniums ago. The area is rich in this type of stuff. very fascinating! -- I too hope that the Blue Mannie Group will be performing at Lucy's party. He's up at +2, but well... he does that alot, so hopefully he'll bring things back down soon.

Auntie EllaBean? you is welcome! Only the bestest for our mama beans! We lubs you! ~~ Mannie

Hey Rusty! DUDE! See you soon - bus is all prepped and ready to go. I was good, and didn't eat too much of the party fuds. I SWEAR! See you soon! ~ Mannie
