No greens (and no typos in my subject line) yet today, but Trix is heading in the right direction. She did briefly dip into the greens last night, but it was just a short visit.

Once I run out of FF (in the next day or so), I'm going to attempt Wellness again. Some of you may recall that she loves Wellness, but it seemed like it would cause her numbers to go up. Now I'm also wondering if the FF has had the same effect, and that is why she needs so much more insulin than she used to. So out of curiousity, I'm going to try a few new food things. I remember that a combination of Instinct and Merrick's BG used to work really well for her numbers, but she got sick of it, which is why I ended up with FF. Fortunately, she's USUALLY not a picky eater, so we'll see. I know, I probably shouldn't rock the boat, but I do wonder if the food thing is why she needs so much more insulin, and is having a harder time staying in the flat greens like she used to.

I don't know how it got to be Thursday already. Thursdays are my least favorite day of the week, because I have to work till 8:00....it is looooong.

Speaking of which...time to get ready! I'll catch condos as I can throughout the day, but if I can't, I'm thinking of everyone :YMHUG: !

Hi Amy, good luck with the food experience. I did a food experiment on Mags and found that the Instinct Chicken was raising her bg, even though it was lc. It was the ingredients in it, I believe, with the veggies and fruits. It was also too high in phosphorus for Mags with her CRD. The only FF she can eat that will not raise her bg is the Seafood Feast, but it's too high in phosphorus. So far the Wellness Turkey agrees with her numbers. I'm looking for another to add to her menu, but it has to be low phosphorus.

Have a nice day, and Trixie girl is looking good!

Well done, Trixster! You look so good in green. :-D :-D Good luck with the food experiment. Do you get a lot of customers in the evening?

Foot traffic is pretty slow in the evening, but we teach jewelry making classes...we usually run two on Thursday nights. Fortunately, Thursdays are our only late night (yep, I'm gettin' old...8:00 is a late night....)

Yay, Thursday is over :-D will be interesting to see how the great food experiment goes. Apparently Vyktor needs his bowl replenished about now because I suddenly have a keyboard and face full of cat
