We've had a great weekend, with lots of time in the yard (Willie only, Herbie is still grounded!!). Since going up to 1u, Willie's numbers have adjusted nicely:

We had a fun afternoon... Willie and I went out to plant bulbs along the back fence we share with Big Orange Dog and Grouchy Schnauzer. The dogs were out and our neighbors at church. Big Orange Dog (who has wanted to be Willie's best friend since we've moved here) was soooo excited Willie was out and came up to the fence. The first time, Willie sprinted across the yard to the patio and sat there and fumed. But gradually, he came closer and closer, until they both were laying on the ground, each on their respective side of the chain link fence, about 4 feet apart. It was so sweet... the dog was clearly just happy as could be. Willie mostly kept his back turned, ready to bolt at any minute, but was grinning as he sniffed the breeze. The Schnauzer, of course, found this all ridiculous, and walked around the backyard muttering so everyone would know it.
When I wasn't outside, Herbie was usually next to me, helping me clean, helping me play scrabble online, etc. She really is getting to be quite the little sweetie. Her newest obsession is pipe cleaners... when my best friend and her family visited last summer, her boys had pipe cleaners they played with in the car, and several ended up under my furniture. Herbie has been delighting in tossing them in the air and chasing them around the house.
The green numbers have Willie more playful as well... I had brought him to bed last night, but he left in a huff. Herbie and I had settled in for lights off, she at the foot of the bed. About 10 minutes later, Willie comes bounding in and pounces on her nowhere. Wrestlemania 876 and 877 proceeded to play out on my bed. Not cool, dude. Not. Cool.

Glad herbie has found a new toy to play with .. it's kinda funny what will entertain a cat isn't it? have a great day guys!
