It's day 7 of Daphne's +9 nighttime snack (2:30 AM) experiment. I started to do this because sometimes a snack at +9 at night will help to get insulin to work a little harder and bring AMPS numbers down. And up till last night, they did. But, I was going to stop it because I saw that the daytime numbers were edging up a bit. After much discussion with the much more experienced/wise LLs, I decided to continue giving Daphne her +9 snack. But, as I have seen many times already with lots of kitties, the minute you think you have something figured out, that is when they decide to let you know they really are in control.
A 148 is a high AMPS for Daphne, so now, I have no idea what she is doing, and it looks like her daytime numbers are down again, as if I didn't even give her that +9. :YMSIGH:
Update
Late night, actually 4/1, I've been up all night, at 4:30 AM and so I did a test for +11 and its 192! This is so crazy, it all started when I gave the +9 snack and now its out of control!
