3/27 Daphne AMPS 99, +5 70, +10 165, PMPS 115, +3 60,+5 68

I don't understand this. Daphne hasn't had a 165 during the day or night (besides her usual AMPS) and a few problems with insulin, for a long time.

I fixed the AMPS w/a snack at +9 at nighttime. But now 165 :shock: today for no reason that I can see? Only thing I can think of is that her pancrease is being made to work harder at the +9 nighttime w/ that snack, it gets tired and doesn't work at all now during the day :?:

I had my hopes up because my body hurts so bad, I thought I would be getting a break soon... :sad:

Any possible reason/advice, is much appreciated. :YMSIGH:

Well, on your SS, today is the 27th, not the 28th. I'm wondering if Daphne went lower than 69 last night. It's possible that the 165 is a bounce or it's a high before a break. Let's see how Daphne's numbers play out. You could have a busy cycle coming up.

Sienne, I forgot I was up all night (couldn't sleep), so I got out of bed and downstairs with DH at 5:30 AM, and I didn't remember I got on the computer and put the numbers in Daphne's SS. So thats what the mix up about the date is, when I got up for he second time, I thought it was a new day! @-)

Thanks, I'll just see what happens then. I just can't understand why just changing/adding a snack, could do all these crazy numbers for her. I know they're not crazy for any one else, but for Daphne, they sure are. And now, a 115 for PMPS!

Vyktor keeps throwing me a number a little higher than expected just before a reduction cycle, I hope Daphne's just doing the same for you but Daphne, mammabean is tired perhaps you could try having your active cycles during the day...

If the 165 is a food spike, she is coming down from it. Hope your night isn't too active ;-)

Daphne never usually food spikes and, even if she did, she didn't eat much today, just ate the rest of her breakfast. PMPS was also higher then she usually is at PM, but is down from the high.

I may never know what that 165 was, but the only change I did in the last two days was start her on that +9 nighttime snack to bring the AMPS down. So far, it did bring it down, but also gave me some high numbers the rest of the day. I'll test at +9 tonight and snack again...

Oh, well, I'll see what tomorrow brings.
