loved your mousie/hamster stories on serryn's condo! we had a squirrel in our garage back when we had dry cat food out there. had to keep it from punkin and felix, who would tear open the bag.
anyway, the squirrel must've come in when the weather was bad and just moved in. we have so much crap out there we couldn't find it, but eventually it left. for years afterwards (literally!) i have found little stashes of cat crunchies. the latest find (and this has been at least 6 years now) was recently in one of the kids' old boots. i pulled it out to give it to the little boy i work with and found the toe full of old cat crunchies. too cute.

That's so cute, Julie! I love how rodents "stuff their cheeks" to transport fuds. I actually did find a pile of cat crunchies under a piece of furniture on the first floor, years after we figured out where the mice were coming in. Fortunately none of the cats seemed to catch wind that the mice made it upstairs!

Thanks for helping assuage my guilt about missing Vyktor's shots, it is way too sacry for me to shoot when I can't monitor and he has hit the green floor today.
Patio mice being very cute today. At least three have moved into the chicken eggery (a converted rabbit hutch) and they all came racing out today to grab pellets right in front of me, they are so adorable!
