  Seems that the RAINBOW BANDIT would not be outdone by all the other diving kitties in LL, and managed to put in a stellar performance yesterday morning. He was a tad bit miffed though that I neglected to catch his yellow in the AM cycle... sorry Mannie! What can I say - a high bounce the night before, an incredible dive the following morning - his poor internal organs! Slow and steady Mannie remember? Paws crossed that that is what we see today. Right, Mannie? LUBS YA big guy! cat_pet_icon I like that amps....
All is well in MannieLand.
He never seems to be bothered by these dives, or the high numbers... Mannie is just Mannie. Yesterday morning was like any other - no clue he was at 453.  He felt fine, and when Mannie feels fine, so does everyone else. DGS helped with testing again, and petting when all was said and done. It really is so cute. Once he handed Mannie the test strip bottle, as if to say maybe we need to recheck that. Mannie was not impressed with the suggestion.  Nanners sure got a workout yesterday too. They were in one position when I got up, in another when I returned from picking up DGS, and yet another when DGS and I came home from our adventure, and yet again when I came home from dropping DGS off with his dad. Guess they needed some serious work!
 And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept, well sort of, after all this time.... Normalcy in MannieLand.
I though maybe I'd post another video of DGS, as so many of you ask about him. This as taken at the Skykomish River, just outside the town of Gold Bar. Nicholas was so perturbed with his blankie that kept getting in the way of his getting to the river's edge. I love this kid - there is no fear, only the joy of discovery.

Have a great day everyone! Today is catchup, errand, laundry and grocery day... oh fun! but the price one pays when you play all week with DGS. Hopefully later in the day I will get out for a walk to the shore. Paws crossed!
Hey everybody!!! What's up? What shall we do today? It's kinda cold her today and rainy and stuff - you guys just wanna hang out by the fireplace on some fleece and stuff, and eat lots of snackie things? Or maybe somebody has some sun??? I am ready for anything! See you guys! ~ Mannie
And completely OT: here are some photos from Nicholas 's and my adventure yesterday to Big Eddy on the Skykomish River. I have no clue why they call it Big Eddy -  But it was a nice spot, and we really did have a great day outdoors.
