Yesterday's Condo
Willie started high this morning but quickly headed downward. Been a busy day here... stayed up after morning bidness to head to early church service, then took DS shopping for new work clothes... she got the job at the bank and starts the 22nd! She'll be working as a personal banker, and her new boss stressed to her the need for professional attire. She's been working at Subway and CVS for the past several years, so she was starting from scratch. Thank heavens for the Penney's Outlet! 4 suits, 2 stretchy jackets and 5 tops for just over $125... and ordered some more tops for her at Kohls (woo hoo clearance!). It's so cold here that I think Willie even appreciated having her in "his" bed... a nice furnace for him! Think I'm going to head out in a bit for some firewood... supposed to be getting some snow tonight and tomorrow morning. Secretly hoping they'll allow us to take unscheduled leave at work. Otherwise, I may run over to work in a bit and grab the computer... would be nice to be able to stay in and enjoy the snow with a fire and the furkids! Added bonus? Supposed to be 50 by Wednesday, so I probably won't even have to shovel!
For now, enjoying some quiet as the kitters are in napping away. I'm sure it won't last long!! We're going to finish catching up on Revenge tonight... tv, a fire, cuddly kitties and a big bowl of soup. doesn't get much better than that!
