Yesterday's BG readings:

AMPS - 301, gave .10 units Lantus (1st cycle)
+3- 272
+5 - 172
PMPS - 148, gave .10 units Lantus (2nd cycle)
+3- 387

This morning is a red dawn at 433 for the AMPS :-x

I don't understand what's happening at night that Cini's numbers get higher till his AMPS is high in the morning. I'm hoping one of you spreadsheet guru's can help me understand.

ETA: Forgot to mention this is Cini's 3rd cycle on a full .10 units Lantus. His nadirs look decent. Maybe I need to give it a full 10 cycles?

Re: 2/12-Cini Mini-AMPS 433 - Question about BGs

Cini is bouncing. Bounces don't just occur when a cat drops into low numbers. They can also occur when there's a fast drop. The latter depends on your cat. It may have been the drop from pink to blue yesterday triggered a bounce. Or, it's possible that numbers dropped much lower between your +5 and PMPS.

Re: 2/12-Cini Mini-AMPS 433 - Question about BGs

Jeeez, you would think he had enough with the bouncing :?

OK, so I guess I'll keep an eye on him and keep with the .10 units for a while.

Gosh! +9 of 95.

Guess this means a bounce again? I hope Cini isn't feeling too icky with all this bouncing?

Oh Cini you handsome guy!! You gotta quit these big drops like this in one cycle!

It's possible, Cathy, that he might bounce...the 213 to 95 is pretty rapid. What a late cycle drop...he looks like he's clearing a bounce so I'd probably be sure and get a +10 or if you are past that, definitely a +11.

Thanks for your great post on Josie's condo today.

Sorry Marjorie, didn't see your post before the +10 or +11.

Thanks for the compliment on Josie's post. Just trying to help out where I can. I hope I'm not frustrating the more experienced people on the board by trying to jump in and help.
