PMPS 103! EEK! I shot a bit of a BCS shot, but I did shoot and will monitor closely tonight. I was nervous, but I know it's important to keep the numbers low. So...here's hoping for a nice, flat night!

Well done Amy! Lots of good shooting going on in LL tonight - expecting the zombie contingent to have doubled by tomorrow :lol:

The first time I shot Vyktor at about that level I did a bit of a chicken shot (I still think it's not fair I had to put BCS on his spreadsheet when I only reduced from 2.25 to 2!) but since then there's been no looking back because the data I got from that shot let me know I could shoot low safely.

The great data you're collecting today will help you feel more confident for next time.

He's already had a 3 oz. at shot time and half a 5.5-oz since; should I give him more so close to nadir?

+4 58 :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I gave him maybe a teaspoon of LC as his treat, but i don't want to give more and cause a food spike. Apparently he disagrees since he's trying to get into the trash. After the last trash raid, i invested in a locking trash can...happy momma, frustrated cat! cat(2)_steam

Well, I don't give Gabby that much food! He's had 5.75 oz? Sometimes a bite or two of LC helps to slow the drop and keep the surf going.

Hi Amy, I was also a wreck today nailbite_smile But I did it, and so glad I did, cause Daphne is now surfing, come on up Mikey and surf with Daphne, or I can send Daphne down cause it's a little cold her tonight and we are going to get some snow too.

I can't give advice yet, I feel I'm too new, but I can say, for Daphne, she does not get much of a food spike, so I feed her 1/8 to 1/4 @ every test, that's her reward and it's very LC… but, ECD. (did I get that right ECD every cat is different, or is it ECID?)

He still needs to gain weight, so I'm stuffing him with as many calories as I dare. He generally gets 3 oz at shot and1.25 oz at both +1 and +2. Since he nadirs early, I try not to feed him too much after +2, other than a piece of freeze dried chicken or shrimp at test time.

The way you're feeding makes sense -- except for cycles like this. Since numbers are still dropping, literally a 1/2 teaspoon of LC may help to keep the surf going.

+6 79! Mikey gave me the death glare when I suggested a test and refused to come over..it's past his bedtime :lol: He's on the rise, but so nice and slow tonight! I know it's a far cry from every cycle looking like this, but this gives me such hope that they CAN look this good! dancing_cat <-- that guy looks like Mikey!

We're off to bed...hopefully Mr. Liver won't freak out before AMPS! Goodnight, Lantus Land, thanks for the support tonight!
