Well.... after a day of making greens, Mannie's internal organs decided yesterday needed to be yellow, and so it was. A nice flat yellow.... this bean will not complain. It could have been "the other color". so... Mannie... how about getting back to those blues, OK? Today would be a good day for it, yes? Works for me! Now about that amps.... Lubs ya big guy, now let's get down to business. cat_pet_icon

I have always wondered what Mannie does all day long while I am gone... now I know... Willie, ace reporter, reported the following last night in his condo:
Christie & Willie said:
Dear Auntee an' Uncle beans--

Iz Willie. I wants to share de latest studee in de sugar dance treetment. It wuz conducted by....uhhhhh..... Mannster an' Binks in de....uhhhhh...... Jurnal of de Feline Awesomeness. Yeah! Dat one!! Dis studee found dat it iz best if kitters gets lots of fuds. An dat dey don't have to wait for de pokees for breffis or dinnerz. NO! Especially at de dark times!! It iz best for de kitters to be on 10.5 hour skedul, eben if dat means we haz to wakee de beans at 3:00 in de mornin!! REALLY!! So when we tries to lick ur eyeballs at de 2:45 in de morning dark time, iz really cuz scyenz sez it is for de best. So dat means u should get out de beds rite away, git to de kitchen, an' feed de kitters. No pokees!! No lookin' at de clock, glarin at de poor starving kitter an' goin back to seepynighttimes!! Mannster an' Binks stress dis is very important. So u beans shud implement dis immediately! Dat is all! Willie out!
All is well in MannieLand. :-D Yesterday had to have been Nanner Day. DGS and I were out early, leaving Mannie in charge. hmmmm....scary.... The nanners were in a huge pile up pattern. When we got home the were ever so artfully arranged in two circles, one within the other, with the two rainbows at either end.   How did he do that? He was so proud of himself - sitting in the middle.  DGS and I discussed the this, and decided that it was best not to mess with the new arrangement.... we opted for lunch instead - chicken on DGS menu. That was enough to spark the nanner kings interests, so he joined Nicholas in some culinary delights: cubed chicken breast, YUM. well, they thought it was YUM.  And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept, well sort of.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty today through Friday. I still need to figure out what we will do today! It will be hard to top yesterday! I know I won't be able to get to condos until late in thee evening,if at all. Do know that I am thinking of you, and your furkids. Think Blue, think green kitties!

HEY EVERYBODY!!! WOO HOO! The beach at Maggie's - and the dunes at Tess's! AWESOME! What a day yesterday!! How can we top that today? DUNES SLIDING!!! can we Tess, huh???? And maybe we can grill or sumtin; afterwards. Maybe make some ice cream.... YUM! See you guys - dunes!, I hope... ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Some photos from Whatcom Falls, where Nicholas and I went yesterday. This is a very nice city park, that just happens to have this really great creek and waterfall in the middle of it. WOW!

Re: 2/9 Mannie AMPS 291

There are worse things than flat yellow. Amazing on the nanners. Tarragon has one nanner that is different than all the rest only because it has a smiley face on it. It's the same size, shape, etc as the other nine. That one is his favorite and is always separate from the others. This morning he had all nine nanners in a circle and the smiley one in the middle. Amazing. it's like crop circles!   Wonder what goes through their heads? You need to get a camera set up while you are gone and see how Mannie does it.

Loves the pictures from yesterday. The driving videos are Mason's favorite so keep them coming!

Have a wonderful day Michelle!

Hey Mannie! Dunes sound awesome buddy. See you soon! - Tarragon

Re: 2/9 Mannie AMPS 291

Sunny yellow is nice but a day of blue skies and green fields are even better. How about it Nanner King? Show us those pretty boy colours.

Re: 2/9 Mannie AMPS 291

Good morning, guys,
Gettin' ready for another adventure-filled day, no doubt. Mannie, they will want to see a new, imaginative formation of nanners when they return! (He is so well organized; I can't imagine Rusty ever doing such a thing: he just leaves his toys where they were last played with. Stu, on the other hand, would put them back in the box that was sitting on it's side that we called the "theater of mice". Rusty has no interest in maintaining the "theater of mice"!)

Have a grand day with Nicholas, Michelle. When he gets a bit bigger you can get him kid's snowshoes and the two of you can go on snowshoe hikes. (If you're thinking of getting yourself some, all the outdoors stores are having winter sales now. I recommend the MSR women's Lightning Ascent, if you can find them on sale. They are made in Seattle.)

Ella

Hey Mannie, the dunes sound like a great place to spend today. See ya later,
Rusty

White Mochas rule! add peppermint and they dominate
Yes, I'll have one please. That report from ace reporter Willie on Manster and Binks is hilarious. What a fantastic reporter that Willie is and wouldn't it be great for the kitties if we would start practicing it. I hope Mannie comes down to blues today. Sounds like a great time yesterday with DGS and pretty pics of the Falls and Nicholas enjoying it, cute with tugging on your leg. Have a great time today.

Mannie, the dunes sounds perfect to me and anything grillin, too. Se ya at the curb, Maggie

Re: 2/9 Mannie AMPS 291, +2 277

Re: 2/9 Mannie AMPS 291, +2 277, +4 192

Re: 2/9 Mannie AMPS 291, +2 277, +4 192

I agree too on the hidden camera watching Mannie and his nanner arrangements. Maybe he's like a kitty version of a florist, except uhhh he only works with nanner arrangements!!!!

Very nice slide into blues today Mannie, take it nice and easy, we don't want to see any bouncing business.....ok?

Re: 2/9 Mannie AMPS 291, +2 277, +4 192

Blue officially recorded!

I love the nanner king stories. I'm not surprised to find that Mannie has been sidelining as a researcher. He obviously has a methodical mindset.

Re: 2/9 Mannie PMPS 193

193 @ PMPS. YAY! a blue PMPS. well, ok so it's barely blue, but blue is blue!, and I'll take it. GForgive my abbreviated post tonight... so much to do, and so little time. :?

Thanks to all for visiting Mannie while I cared for DGS. We went to the aquarium today, as it was POURING outside.... He loves the aquarium so we were good to go. We had a small break in the rains, so we were also able to visit a small waterfront park that is next door. We had a really nice time today. :-D

Thanks Barb, Anne, Celi, Lina, Tracy, Ann, Devon Ann, Ella, Iorwen, and Melissa for checking up on Mannie. As Melissa said, there are worse things that flat yellow, so I will not complain! It is great to see the blue tonight! WOO HOO! I too loved ace reporter Willie's story - I just had to repost it. Mannie and DGS shared fuds at lunch again. Chicken rocks! :?
Devon - you may be right! Mannie thinks DGS has good stuff - he always shows up now.
Melissa - funny that Mason likes the driving videos the best - they are my sons fav one too! Today he learned how to work the horn. And way too fun on the nanners! Crop circles - GREAT description!! A camera would be a good idea. Mannie has a favorite too....
Ella - too fun on Rusty and the difference with Stu and the toys. Mannie never picks up, but he sure makes them into nice patterns. and on DGS - yes on the snowshoes. It is on my to do list, and I hope it is something that we can do, maybe even with his mom and dad. :-D thanks for the recommendation!
Ann - yep: he tugs on my leg alot - it's like his security blanket after walking, or trying something different.
Ann - so I keep telling him - down is better.
Tracy - I will have to figure out a way to do that. These arrangements only happen when we are gone. I know it's not Elsa - he won't let her near them.
Linda   on the researcher. somehow it all fits....
celi - perfect photo, as always.
Barb, Anne - BLUE! I too am hoping for more tonight.

Hey everybody! WOO HOO on the dunes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the dunes, and all that sunbathing and sand sliding and all that stuff. What an awesome day - thanks guys!!!    heeheehee - i love grillin' lizards.... ~~ Mannie

Re: 2/9 Mannie PMPS 193

Hi again. Glad you had a good day despite the heavy rain. You are lucky there are so many options for rainy days. Nice BLUE Mannie. Have a good evening, guys.

Re: 2/9 Mannie PMPS 193, +2 270

270 @ +2. ah Mannie..... :YMSIGH: well, up we go - Not too sure that all that is just a food spike.... Blues were better Mannie....

Hi Ella - thanks! We had a good time. I am grateful for rainy day options, and am still trying to find more. Soon we will be going to the pool too, so he can get used to the water, from a pool perspective. It will bea good option for those rainy days...
