Apparently, a drop is all that was needed! Happy to have Willie back in great numbers. At bedtime last night, Herbie was particularly cuddly and I couldn't figure out why. Willie was also not coming when called for bedtime, so I got up and found the answer to both... The bean hadn't shut the pet door yet, and somebody was out for a moonlight stroll through the yard. I think he feels braver in the dark, so he was at the far end of the fence line where the golden retriever lives. A quick call out the back door had him streaking across the yard to greet me. It's amazing how much more energy he has in the greens as opposed to even the mid-blues.
He's a bit cross at me this morning... Herbie has been pukey, and it appears she has mucus issues. I've got doctor's appointments this week and a full plate at work in terms of things I can't get out of, so I'm hoping we can make it to Saturday's appointment. If not, we'll figure out something! So to help Herbie's tummy, she got chicken baby food this morning while Willie got the normal fare. I put it in a deeper ramekin so he wouldn't notice and even moved the bowl to the kitchen while I was working in there, but he caught on eventually. Oh, the disdain in his eyes when he realized I'd been holding out on him!
At least I'm coming btb for a bit this morning... probably no snoozing, but just doing some stuff on the computer. He's just come in and is curled up next to me on the bed, all furry purry, smiling because all is right in his world.
