I'm glad to see the lower numbers but why does she do this when I'm at work?!
DH is going to test again @ +3 and I don't usually give her a snack until right after the +6 test. Should I have him give her a snack to stop the drop? Will that help the bouncing?

Edit: Well, guess I don't have to worry about that but it is good info for the future!

Hi guys .. That's quite a drop already at +2 so I wouldn't be surprised if a bounce comes even with a snack at +3 .. hoping theres a nice surf in thumpers future! Have a great day guys!

Depending on when your cat's nadir is, you generally don't want to feed past nadir. The reasoning is that as numbers are coming up, there's less Lantus available to help keep numbers in a lower range. If you then feed, the food may only further raise numbers. It sounds like you'd be better off giving Thumper all of her food before nadir.

Finally out of the pinks! I hope it lasts. I was pretty happy with her #'s today. Not wonderful but much better than they have been.
 
I was hoping she wouldn't go pink again but so much for that. I just hope she's not back in the reds tomorrow morning.
 
That's high enough, Thumper!

I can't recall what your schedule is like, but Binks used to nadir between +4 and +6...so I followed the "frontloading" schedule some of the wise ones use,
and split up his food into minimeals fed at shot time, +1, +2, and +3.

it sure seemed to work for him...

ah, but barbara, look at what a super string of blue/yellows thumper had earlier today! hours of beauuuuuutiful blues! those are the best numbers in several days. yay! hopefully that stinkus pinkus will be gone in no time!
