Good day LL,

Looks like this momma shouldn't have fed MC before bed last night, I'm pretty sure that's the reason for the yellow start this morning. Poor kitty woke me up again at 4:15 this morning, singing his 'I'm starving' song. My DB, and DSIL stayed here last night and as soon as the lights went out meowing and playtime commenced :roll: :oops: I hope they slept alright.

We had a good test, shoot and feed. CPC achieved, since his diet began its been CPC everyday. He's lost 4 oz in 2 weeks!I I'm not sure how accurate my scale is tho.

Today's mission for me is to get out and buy some Leo essentials, litter, strips and replenish the HC stock he's been eating. I hope my neck and back cooperate and give me a day pass.

Forgot to add, we finally got our pet food direct order and I ended up getting FF marinated morsels chicken instead of my chunky turkey I ordered. What's the carbs in the morsels?

I don't have an answer about the food. I think it's worth an irate phone call. They surely can't expect you to pay for shipping it back since it is their error. It's not cheap to ship that stuff, so they may ship the correct order and not require you to return the morsels. Those marinated morsels sound pretty tasty, so they are probably high carb :lol:

How is your back feeling?

That little error is definitely worth an irate phone call - you paid a small fortune in shipping! I don't know the carb content, either...but you may now be well stocked on HC!

I hope youre back and neck are feeling better...don't overdo it!

Morning! well bummer on the fuds error - no clue here on the carbs - it wasn't on my list. Maybe call them? I dunno... Maybe at least see what they say. Good luck!

Absolutely call them and tell them of their error. They are a reputable company and I'm sure they will make good on it. The customer is always right! If they want you to send them back, request a post-paid box, post-paid for shipment from Canada. But I don't think they will want them returned--too much hassle for them.

Feel better today, Tracy. Don't try to lift those heavy litter bags. Get someone at the store to do it for you!

Leo, come back to blue and green!!

Hi guys .. oh leo, so close to blue! I would also be mad about the incorrect order shipment. I bet they send you the correct stuff and tell you to keep the wrong food. Make sure you don't overdue it today, lifting anything heavy .. Have a stock guy help you, if you see one .. have a great weekend!

A 49 again Leo? Seriously? Sheesh, i fed him some FF medleys with another big drop of karo. Pretty soon Leo will want pancakes with all his corn syrup :lol:

Well I wasn't mad or upset about the order screw up I just opened the package and went 'awwwww' but now that everyone is saying I should call pet food direct I think I will give them a call.

Good idea on the not lifting those heavy litter bags, I think I need a personal assistant today!

Hi Tracy, I bet they send you some free Chunky turkey. I had a few cans of bent NV Instinct, and when I called Mr. Chewey.com about it, they sent me a free case of NV. this last time I got an extra free bag of kitty litter.
That is a big drop at the +3!

Tracy, if you stand and look pitiful, in front of the litter in the store, someone will always take pity on you and put it in hte cart.
Outside, you wait for a man to get anywhere near, and ask him, oh so pitifully, if he would put it in the car for you. Works every time. Men love to save a helpless female. :lol:

I agree on calling them. They will surely want you to be happy, or they will lose your repeat business.

Wow for Leo! Way to go, buddy!

The FF marinated morsels range in carbs from 18-22%. We had kitty tantrums in our house when I stopped serving it and switched them to gravy-free paté.

I don't think you should have to take the time to repackage the food and ship it back, even with a prepaid shipping label. I'd call and say, "I will not ship the food back; I will donate it to a local shelter on your behalf; and, I'd like you to ship me the correct order ASAP, with a discount coupon on future orders for the inconvenience this has caused." Sound good? :-D

Hi Tracy,

I don't have answers or advice for Leo, (I'm pretty new at this), but I just wanted to say, hang in there with your back and neck pain. My neck and back are so bad today, yesterday..., I'm walking around holding frozen peas on my neck, and testing Daphne in between ice.

Good luck to both you and Leo…, looks like I will have a long night with Daphne being in the green all day, so if you want to talk cats, and necks, and backs, I'll probably be here all night!

No really call & tell them about your poor FD cat Leo, who only can eat certain foods, you buy so much from them & How much the 40,000 cats on FDMB buy FFand from pet food direct which is recommended here., and ask them to please make this right!!
For all the kitties here who eat FF~~ And there is always safety in numbers!!

Hahaha thanks ladies! All the poor kitties on FDMB that order from pet food direct are outraged!! Send me the right fuds or we all stop ordering!! :lol: I still haven't called, DB and DSIL just left a few hours ago.

Leo's uncle babysat while I ran all the Leo errands. I bought Leo this toy called slimcat, it's pretty awesome! It's like Melissa's treat box she made Tarragon but this is a ball that you stick treats in and it's got little openings all around it, so Leo rolls it around and treats fall out! It's the cats meow (says Leo). It says on the box "play away the pounds" so naturally I was sold on it! :lol:

Dose crease again tonight, I shot 2.00u and fed 8% for supper, I had a feeling if I fed him his usual 4% he would drop on me again, so hopefully 8% solves that problem.
