1/4 Rocket AMPS 214 +5.25 70-vet apt tomorrow

hi LL family,
opening a condo today to let you know that I will be taking Rocket tomorrow to the vet for a follow up...to check his renal values and also another urinalysis....

I got a call today from the hospital that saw Rocket on Christmas day....it took them mighty long to let me know that indeed he did have a UTI...she told me over the phone but i don't recall what...all she said was to make sure he went to see his reg vet to follow up but the abs chosen should have cleared it all....

that said...i have noticed he goes pee more often...smaller pees compared to his normal self (due to his CRF)....so she said it will be up to his reg vet to keep him on the ab :YMSIGH: a little longer...but we will see....

i have had hardly any sleep in the 10 days he was on the abs (last pill was at 1:30 am today)....and since i'm literally a walking zombie....i decided to leave work and so i took half day off work today and won't go tomorrow as Rocket goes to the vet....so i'm home trying to get caught up with my sleep...at least i'm hoping to do so....

it's a good thing i left work when i did...i tested Rocket and his +5.25= 70.....he had barely eaten any food since i syringe fed him at +2 before heading off to work this morning...

i sure hope the abs cleared the UTI or whatever it is he had....as i'm not sure i can physically do another round of abs...but as always...if need be...so be it.... nailbite_smile

that said....things have not been good with him...good days (hrs) vs bad days (hrs)....so will weigh in to see if he bounces back from this one...i'm after his QOL....

please continue to pray for him....he does give me attitude sometimes...but other times not so....i truly hope it's due to the abs....

and as always...keeping all kitties and beans in my prayers....

Claudia.....you are an amazing bean and Rocket is truly lucky to have you. Continued good thoughts and prayers for Rocket.
