12/08 J.D. PMPS 259 - Ginger caught a mouse

Yesterday's Condo

J.D. tried to wake me up in the middle of the night by laying across my face. Eventually, I got up.
Last Night:
313 PMPS (1st Dinner)
___ +3.25 (2nd Dinner)
95 +7.75 (3rd Dinner)
83 +8.75
78 +10
93 +11

He got his 1/4 tablet of Pepcid at +11, and the his Amoxicillin with 1st Breffis at AMPS.
Kitties are all snuggled up in the dog bed.

Not too bad of a PMPS, after that quick rise at AMPS +1.

I got home at PMPS, gave J.D. his Pepcid and we went outside. Ginger goes running into the bushes, and I think (hope) she saw a bunny, and not a cat. I hear a crash in the bushes and figured (hoped) I'd see the bunny run out. But didn't. Ginger comes out, and runs towards home. The front door was not open (since we got the newly installed self shutting and locking doors, by our condo assoc.), so she let it go on the porch near the front door. She chased it a little, and played, and I tried to get between her and the mouse. Luckily, I won, and the mouse finally was able to escape under my bird bath. I looked for J.D. and he didn't see the mouse, or was still looking under the bushes for the center of all the excitement.
I took J.D. for a walk to the places I feed the squirrels, while Ginger stayed in the same spot where she (thinks she) lost the mouse and kept sniffing the ground.
Both came inside (eventually, I convinced Ginger to come inside) and had a bite to eat.
Ginger is now SCREAMING to go back outside :roll:
 
Way to go Ginger! But mommmmmm, she just wanted to play. :lol: At least you got it away and it wasn't brought in the house. Have a great mouse-free night Dyana!
 
We just went back outside real quick, and while Ginger wanted to go back to the bushes, I pushed over the bird bath, and the mouse is gone :-D I hope it makes it. I left corn and sun flowers seed and peanuts around the bird bath :smile:

bwahahaha

it's like the old stories of hobos marking houses where they could get a hand-out! that mouse will be telling his friends that you serve the good FUDS!
