What is up with that AMPS?!?! Maybe we had a bit of a fur shot last night? I did smell some insulin on his fur last night, but it wasn't wet at all. Leo's numbers weren't too great last night.

That darn belly scab is going to be the end of me.....its driving me bananas! I clipped off a couple of pieces yesterday, 1 piece was hanging on and Leo ripped it off himself when i wasn't looking and started licking again. By the time i caught him it was bleeding a little, his tshirt went back on and he also got some polysporin on it. 1 piece of the scab is left and hanging on by a little bit, I am bound and determined to get it off before i have to go back to work Friday.

Leo was being a little lover this morning, i got up and he was being hugged up by grandpa and purring up a storm. We had a good test, shoot and feed. The purring continues and we are heading BTB as soon as i post this. Will visit condos later this AM.

Good morning! Come on down Leo. Bouncing is no fun!

Bummer about the scab. I hope you get it healed. We are dealing with that on Charlie's leg incision and it is driving me bonkers!!!

I hope it was just a bit of a fur shot and Leo comes down quickly. I'm sure Leo is wanting to see the end of that scab too! Good luck!

That must be quite irritating when a wound like that is healing, very itchy. Sounds like he's making good progress overall. What a sweet boy! Come on down, Leo, nice and easy. Have a good day!

We had a great BTB, Leo snuggled under the covers and purred up a storm.

I got some of those bandages that sticks to itself, Leo will get them at the vet for blood draws, usually in pink! I put a piece of gauze on first then wrapped the bandage around his belly, its working like a charm so far and he's been wearing it all morning.

Hi guys .. nice to see leo didn't stay high for to long! Sorry to hear about the scabs on the belly .. I can only imagine how they must be irritating him .. Maybe a warm compress might help speed up that last piece? Hope you guys have a great day!

Purrrrrrfect! Gorgeous cycle. Good thinking on the bandage. Can you get them in green, just as a reminder to him?

Lovely numbers today!!! I hope things continue to do so well for Leo, and that stupid scab stops being a nuisance!!

Good grief! I took Leo's bandage off because it looked good and I figured he would leave it alone. I turn around for 5 minutes and it's oozing blood and Leo looked extremely guilty :evil: :roll: :-x I could strangle him sometimes!!!!!! Polysporin, gauze, bandage and grandma made him a new purple tshirt to wear as well. He's mad at me and has been since this all went down a few hours ago, but he's sleeping now so hopefully when he wakes up he will have forgotten he's mad at me. :lol:

Green bandages is a great idea!!!! :mrgreen:

Bummer on the scab opening up again. Leo, you've got to keep away from that scab!! Tracy, have you thought to try those new "advanced" bandages? They completely seal around the wound and you keep them on for days. When you remove them, the skin is healed without scabbing. They come in all sizes. I have bought them as large as 4 inches x 4 inches. However, if Leo has fur where his wound is, they might not work. Something to check into, however.

Nice that Leo came down quickly from the fur shot.

Very nice surfin' today, but Leo, dude, leave that owie alone! The longer you have it, the longer MamaBean is going to bug you about it, so stop llicking it, and you'll BOTH have some peace!!!
 
Leo's numbers recovered beautifully today!! Now to just get him to leave his scabs alone! No picking, Leo!! You hear me?!? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Sounds like you've at least got some solutions!!

Wow, Leo - that's some kind of recovery from the AMPS! You old scab picker you! Hope you stay flat like the prairie all night! :-D
