Good morning Lantus Land. Healing vines to Mike, Jill's DH, today as well as Attie, Tawny, Rocket and any others who need them.

Gracie dipped her tiny toes into green last night and that was about it. Unless she comes back down today, she gets a drop more of juice tonight. She is spending much less time in healing numbers and much more time in yellow. She was her sweet, snuggly self last night. Mike and I tag teamed the testing and after every one of them, she'd snuggle back in to my arms. Now that I look back on it, I'm not sure why we tested so much other than because she is so unpredictable and can be at 100 one minute and 50 the next...I think literally :lol: :lol: She's racing around here like a happy girl; Tobes is watching his bird video. This is getting to be a daily thing with him....he sits in front of the TV until we put it on.

We put up the new (faux) tree yesterday and as we were eating dinner last night, I looked at Mike and said "I thought we had three cats and I'm not seeing any of them". Lo and behold, they were all curled up together under the tree :lol: :lol: So now I know exactly where to find them.

Hope everyone has a great day. I'm out the door to run some errands and get some groceries. I'm trying to get hold of social workers to get my mom released from Health South to her SNF where she will be happier. Not an easy thing. Still trying to get things ready to leave on Thursday to go help DSs with DM's move. Have a great day. Paws crossed I can get to some condos today. I MISS you all!

Hi Marje!!! I miss YOU!!! I tend to agree with adding the drop after taking a look at Gracie's SS. Not nearly enough green in there.

I know you're going to be busy getting ready to leave this week. Stressful, to say the least!!

Morning Marje! and Gracie! Nice amps today. Knowing Gracie, I'm not at all surprised you guys tested all night long - you really can't trust her in those low blues. Hope she has as nice a cycle today, but with a bit more green, ok Lil Stinka? I've started saying that to Oscar when he swings from my clothes hanging in the closet (Cleetus does it too) but I just can't say it without thinking of Gracie! :lol: Too funny with Tobes and the video - I bought one for my cats, but have yet to play it for them. I'm afraid the kittens would attack the TV! :lol: :lol: So sweet how they all curl up together under the tree - I sure wish my gang would curl up together anywhere. So sorry you're having so much to deal with for DM, but I'm glad she seems to be feeling better. Have a great day!

Green toes? Couldn't you at least tinge the ankles, Gracie? But maybe a steady run of blues for a few days is in order. Pawpaw Bean will be on Gracie duty and maybe he could use a few flat days.

Sounds like you still have lots to do with your mom's situation. I hope everything will work out on schedule so that you and your sisters will be able to move her when planned. We'll be thinking of you!

The Xmas-tree gathering of kitties is priceless. And I love the way Tobey watches his bird video every day.

Morning guys! Very nice amps there miss Gracie - a few more points down and you can come and play with the boys at the lagoon. They are testing their surfing skills today.

Sounds like a great day in your household: cats under the tree, bird videos - the life!

Good evening everyone! Gracie did not believe we would take her dose up but even Daddybean decided it was time so she got another drop tonight. The kittens have been wild between the cooler weather and the tree being up. Gus and Tobey are zonked out under the tree now...I think Tobey ran himself ragged :lol:

Thanks for stopping by. My day was spent making numerous phone calls to the case managers/social workers at Health South and the SNF. I really thought I was going to be able to make it happen to get DM to the SNF today....but it didn't. My DS who lives there was busy getting notice done to where DM currently lives so we can get her stuff moved into the associated ALF. Anyway, long story short, all the social workers decided DM needs one more day of evaluation at Health South to get her baseline so they can agree upon a plan of treatment at the SNF. She's bummed but taking it like a trooper. My biggest concern is they don't have her pain under control as they are not giving her meds as prescribed. DS was over there this afternoon, too, talking face to face with the social workers. So....the plan is to move her to SNF on Wed a.m. Meanwhile...trying to get things wrapped up here...I have to work Wed.

Thank you all for your supportive prayers and thoughts and I'm so sorry I just don't have the time to visit condos. I'm worried about leaving Mike mealless, too. AND I ran out and got a flu shot because I don't want to go into the SNF with any possibility of giving or getting the flu.

Kitties snuggling under the tree...young kitties at that. How sweet! I have to admit, I don't trust my herd with a tree...they are way too feisty. I haven't put up a tree since we adopted them - almost 10 (gasp) years ago :lol: !

Ok Gracie....this better just be NDW and you better be thinking blue and green instead of y...... and stinkus p........
