12/3 Rocket AMPS 180 PMPS 211

hi LL family,
keeping MJ in my thoughts and prayers.....and praying for all the kitties that are unwell.....

amps 180

we are off to the vet....

i know something is off with Rocket....i made the apt about a week ago...he is eating off/on depending on what i offer him......and i'm running out of ideas...i weigh him daily and i know he has lost weight from when he went to see the vet on Oct 24.....

prayers and healing vines much appreciated and needed....

i know that being the weekend the vet will do bloodwork and the results won't be in until next week....but i'm hoping she will at least know what the heck is going on with him.......

off to the vet

ps...Comet's last set of stitches were removed on Thursday and he seems to be ok....though he has lost his hearing he seems to be his happy go lucky old self.....

Thinking of you today as you head out to your vet appointment. I hope that whatever is ailing Rocket will be apparent to the vet and reasonable for you to deal with. Sending lots of healing vines and prayers. Good news about Comet.

We are back!

vet thinks it's the CRF progressing and not the thyroid...that said we will await now for blood work results to see what is causing Rocket to not be himself....
they didn't do the xray pending bw results they said....but i think they just didn't have time to set up and all...which i'm not happy about but whatever....i really want to see about the mass near his lungs....once the results are in i will be discussing with the vet if perhaps another visit to the IM vet is needed to do a follow up ultrasound and see about the mass in the pancreas too....it is stupid he needs to see the IM vet to get an ultrasound done....but whatever...

i'm hopeful the masses have not grown but one never knows...

he had a petit mal seizure when we got home...not sure it was due to the workout he got at the clinic....it took him a while to settle but with the rescue remedy he seems to finally be ok resting on the couch....though still not sleeping....

he ate lots (3 servings) when we got home...

FINALLY vet scale and mine at home are the SAME (they got a new one that is same as mine at home)...and they were both bang on with his weight at 8.06 kgs.....

so we wait and wait and pray and pray.....

Claudia: sending many prayers for a good report on his bw. He has done so incredibly well with your care and attention. He looks great. I hope he is ok after the seizure....poor boy.

The picture of Rocket is so beautiful. He is one of the most gorgeous kitties I have ever seen! I'm glad you are home and I hope Rocket is ok after the seizure and praying he doesn't have anymore. Wow on all the food he ate! Did he give everyone at the vet's office a workout too? I know he does not like the vet too much (who does!). Big hugs and prayers!

it has taken all afternoon for Rocket to really settle....he got quite the workout at the clinic and gave them attitude....

i didn't notice another seizure

wow...after all that's going on with him he's still such a goodlooking fella!
