Morning LL! I think Moonie is (antijinx) a little better-She ate about 1 can total between last nite & early this am, I saw her eat & couldnt get plate up, but that's ok!
She is a little brighter, tossed a toy for a minute, and 2 deposits in LB--Ate her handfed plain ff beef lc few bites that's her usual, so Hoping with all my heart, that whatever it was is better...Not sure yet, but we'll see.
Still taking her to Vet, as she needs to be checked over--Think all the praying helps..
Please continue healing vines & prayers, they DO HELP!!
Cooking today my broccolli pie & sweet potato pie--
HOW ABOUT AN LL Cookbook with all of us donating a recipe to help raise money for DCIN Or LLEF??

Hi guys .. I'm glad to read that moonie is feeling a little better .. hoping it was a bug that is leaving her system, but a vet visit is probably still a good idea .. I won't be around for the Thanksgiving weekend, so have a great one!

A cookbook is a great idea. Your pie sounds fabulous! I am making the traditional pumpkin and then a cherry pie today. Lots to do! Have a wonderful Wednesday!! :YMHUG:

Glad to hear that Moonie is starting to feel better, but a vetty visit isn't a bad idea, especially with the holiday. We're still thinking of you guys!

Hi Roni, I'm glad to hear Moonie is doing a little better. It is so worrisome when they are off a little. Hope she continues to improve today. I make sweet potato pie too. Sweet potatoes are so, well, sweet that I may leave out the sugar altogether. What is your broccoli pie recipe? Sending healing energy to Moonie and hugs to you.

So thankful that Moonie is feeling better and I agree, LL prayers WORK!!! Hope vetty figures out what caused it.

I want the broccoli pie recipe too - never heard of it but if I can get some broccoli into hubby, I'd love it! It's very high in potassium! It's just us and another neighbor lady for food tomorrow so we're not fixing much. I've got the turkey thawed and ready to cook tomorrow morning. KT's gonna be SUCH a happy cat - he LOVES turkey. As soon as he smells it cooking, he camps out in front of the stove....

She had to have some MC as she dropped to 52, so I didnt give her any temptations, & she came up!
She had eaten a bit of lc but it wasnt enough to bring her us so I gave her the mc..
This is fine..Of Course I am taking her to vet-DH already complaining as he hates to put her through that :shock: :shock: :shock: -He's kidding right??
Will be right here hanging with my girl!

It's great that Moonie is feeling better; and she has really nice numbers to boot! But as long as you have the appointment, you ought to keep it. Moonie, be a good girl at the vet's! KTSS will be along later with the special spa treatment.

Thanks for the recipe, Roni. I'm going to try it this weekend.

(((Roni))) Sorry my cold has kept me from visiting lately but I am sending Moonie more healing vines and good vetty vines. I"m glad to hear she is much better today and is eating. What nice numbers for her!!!

Thanks for the info on the zicam. Mike bought some yesterday and we've both been taking it. He hasn't been as sick as I have and he said he could tell a big difference. I thought it definitely helped my throat
but my head congestion is still....ick. I think he's sold on it!!!

Please let us know how things go at the vet. Hoping all bloodwork/urine comes back 100% normal and the not eating/pukus was just a fluke.

Hi Roni, sending good vines and lots of prayers for Moonie and the Vetty visit tonight. Hang in there and calming vines for you, too. I hope Moonie is okay, and it's good for her to have a check-up wit her latest symptoms. She sure is having a nice cycle today..

I am so happy to hear that Moonie is feeling a little better but the vet visit is still a good idea. I think the cookbook idea is fabulous! I would definitely buy a few. I am going to check out your broccoli pie recipe...sounds delicious. And sweet potato pie is my favorite!!! Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

Vet examined her thoroughly, and said she thinks this episode was just a little bug(another man's cat was there with the same symptoms!) or she ate something off the floor that upset her tummy!
She looks & feels fine, heart good, and she was there last time in August--
I did want a urineanalysis done & She agreed as Moonie's bladder was full -so I told her go for it!
She said her bloods were so good in August that it could wait another month or 2 to repeat.
She will be in on Sunday, so I will get the urine results then..All in all a great visit-
I have so much to be thankful now, my girl is OK--and for all of you of course!

being a light in the dark - that is so true. i think we all felt "in the dark" place when we got here and what a turn-around!

so glad moonie's feeling better today and what a stunning picture of her. she is gorgeous! i had a sweet tuxedo girl - i can almost feel moonie's fur.

and yes, your bed is stunning. i love the linens!
