Yesterday was my “o ye of little faith” day. After much agonizing over the apparent loss of movement when we increased to 4.5 U, DH and I studied Weezer’s chart and all of the advice left for us and decided to go to 4.75 U last night. Looks like it paid off with a lovely blue night for her. Thanks to all for your words of wisdom and encouragement.

Wishing a kitty day for all, plenty of purrs, play, sunny spots and lots of love.

wonderful to see that string of blues. I bet Weezer can pull it off again today, let's go Weezer!

Nice stretch-o-blue there last night!

FWIW, it was 5 months before we saw a blue number - 192. It took 6u Lantus and 2u R to get that.
A whole lot of disappointment, frustration and just plain bafflement.
(It was before we knew about the IAA)

That's all ancient history now ;-)

Contraband! Weezer begged some roast beef from DH's sandwich. He didn't think about the pickle juice on it until too late. She must be pretty sensitive to those carbs! Now DH is too!

Really?! Pickle juice is high carbs? Anne says it must have sugar in it. Ok, Weezer, let's work this dose. You are doing great!

glad you increased. someone told me it's not about the size of the dose, it's about the cat's BG. it's so true - i've had mental blocks on dose numbers i didn't want to pass, but ya gotta go up to come down. you just want to give them what they need to keep them as healthy as possible. they don't know or care what dosage is in the syringe. they do know and care about how they feel. great job.
