Yesterday's Condo

J.D. appears to be in a bounce. Or, it could be from all the food he ate last night :roll: . 1st Dinner was fine. 2nd Dinner, he ate his meal real fast and I then caught him eating Ginger's (pushed her head right out of her bowl.. and she just sits there staring at him is disbelief). I fed Ginger some more, since J.D. had gobbled all her food down, and I told J.D. "No" in a stern voice and chased him away (walked him back to the couch). I go back to the computer and he's done it again.
I feed Ginger some more, and yell a little louder at J.D. and walk him back to the couch, get back on the computer, turn to look and he ate up all her food again. I finally, took Ginger's bowl, filled it with some leftover HC, and locked her up purring in the bathroom (she loves to be locked up in the bathroom with special food).
I think I hurt J.D.'s feelings, because he did not sleep with me last night :sad:

I just weighed him and he's 14lb 1.5 oz. Last week he was 13lb 12oz. I think he's getting ready for winter, like a bear.

This morning, I feed him watered down FF with Miralax, and add some pieces of leftover shrimp. He eats a little of his, and then abandons his to go in search of Ginger's. I get out the FortiFlora and add a sprinkle to both cat's bowls and he finally finished his. Both kittys are now in their beds.

I feel guilty about scolding J.D., and I feel like I have to give him some extra loving now, but whenever I do, I find Ginger just staring at me, like "why am I never loved like that?" She doesn't like to be held and is not a snuggler.

Well, now that I've written way too much, I must hit the shower and get ready for tbp.

Mean mamabean! Won't let poor J.D. eat all of the food in the house! Now he's going to feel totally abused! Too funny :lol: :lol:

Aww poor J.D getting in trouble for being a piggy. I love when they plump up for winter and get their winter coats.

Oh JD! Your sister needs food too. Try leaving her some.

I know what you mean. I hate scolding any of them and then catch them looking at me when someone else gets a pat or cuddle. DH always says make sure to pet them all if you are going to pet one. It's like they make a mental note of how long I petted or cuddled the other one and they are tallying it up.

Hi guys .. oh yes, we have the same routine in this house .. if one kitty get's scolded we feel bad, and give extra lovin's to both of them .. but the one who got scolded looks at us like "but she didn't get told NO!" Cats .. crazy creatures! Have a great day guys!

Not too bad of a PMPS for J.D.

My worst hypocritical thing, is when we are all out walking, and if a bunny comes hoping by, and Ginger shows interest (which she always does) and she is told "No!" (she listens to me, unlike another cat I have), and sits down and stays.
If J.D. shows interest, I say "Get the bunny, J.D.!". Poor Ginger, she's so confused :roll:

Maybe you could get her a little stuffed bunny...

And say "J.D., No!" (like he would listen...) and then they could each have one.
