A couple of thoughts/suggestions....

When you move a shot time you have 2 options (most of the time). You can either:
  • move the time by 15 min. at each shot time or
  • move the shot by 30 min. once every 24 hours.
It looks like you moved the AM and the PM shot ahead to accommodate the end of Daylight Savings Time. And early shot acts like a dose increase.

Please remember to get PM spot checks. Even if you can only get a before bed test, this is very important. It's especially important since you are not home during the day. Junior's numbers look good. Many cats experience lower numbers during the PM cycle so you are not only missing half of your data, you could easily be missing that Junior's numbers are dropping into low ranges. Lantus dosing is based on the nadir -- not on the pre-shot test.

Hi Sienne,

Yes I did move the times over the weekend due to daylight savings time, I never thought to ask last week what to do, so I did what I did.

Night time tests coming, I get so stressed by days end, with calls to Mass checking on family members, I must remember, Junior is my baby, which is family too.

and I look at his numbers, and think I am doing something wrong, it has been since June, I see other people going OTJ with their babies, I keep reading articles, and I think I am overstressing myself. which goes to junior...

thanks Sienne for your thoughts/suggestions

Junior & Kay
