Good Morning LL,

Well Leo had a really good night last night. I went back to the vet to pick up another shot of cerenia for "just in case" and Dr. Andrea told me to give it anyway since its worked so well for Leo so far. I gave his cerenia, bupe and insulin and i went out and had myself some drinks with my sis in law while DGP's took care of Leo for the night. I came back and Leo was obviously feeling NO pain from his bupe.....he was stoned! He ate really well yesterday and last night.

This morning he looks really good, he was receiving cuddles and headbutts from grandpa when i got up. We had a good test, shoot and feed. I've solved yesterdays hunger strike for kibble by feeding Leo FF elegant medley's and he loves him some elegant medley's! He is due for his bupe right now, but he looks so good i think i can taper off to 2x a day instead of 3.

YAY!!! Leo is on the mend! nice amps too! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: it is great to read that he is feeling better. And I love the stoned part. Way to go Leo. :cool:

:lol: Thanks for making me laugh so early in the morning. I'm so glad you got out and had a nice time, as you surely deserved it. What a nice report on Leo, and it's great he's feeling so good! I can't get over his great numbers and even with eating the FF Medleys and hc. Have a wonderful day.

Well i'm glad everyone enjoyed the Leo being stoned story!!

I shot his bupe again while he was yawning.....sneaky sneaky bean!!! Ohhhhh how it makes me laugh when he realizes its happened :shock: :shock: :o then major licking :lol: :lol:

Look at all that green! Sweet Leo. I am so glad he is feeling better. Better to be stoned than in pain. :lol:

Tracy, sorry those site either don't ship to Canada or are so expensive. However, I Googled cat food+canada and found several sites that to ship in Canada. I don't know how their prices compare to local though.

hi tracy - punkin was on cerenia for the infection after his dental extractions in march. i counted on his ss - the first day the vet gave an injection of cerenia, then for 5 more days i gave him the pills twice a day - mostly 16 mg am, sometimes 8 mg pm. as i recall the pills are meant for dogs and 16mg was a high dose. i think i looked it up online. but i held with it anyway because i thought it was a worthwhile trade-off for the relief from vomiting.

funny on leo's 77 amps and 77 +6 . . . wonder what that's about.

I'm so glad to hear Leo has turned the corner and is feeling much better. And he was STONED?? :lol: :lol: :lol: Bupe makes Tobey the ultra love king ...sounds like it does the same to Leo.

I'm so glad you got out...you've had enough stress lately and a night out prolly did you worlds of good!!

Great news on the belly wound....its starting to lift up on the edges....that means its getting ready to fall off!

I am still so worried about stressing him out, we are still at my parents place, only because i don't want to stress him out from the car ride......how much do i sound like a total worry-wart? I am planning on going back home tomorrow with Leo, although my parents don't want him to leave, my dad offered to "babysit Leo if you want to go out" :lol: Sounds suspiciously like they want me gone and Leo to stay here.
 
Is this not the flatest, green cat you have ever seen???? And he's been eating no less than 15% FF today.......... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
